Publication number: 20240378734Abstract: Systems and methods for overlaying image data for a biological sample on spatial analyte data are provided. A first image of the sample on a first substrate and a second image of the sample on the first substrate overlayed on a second substrate are obtained. The second substrate includes spatial fiducials and capture spots. At least one of the first substrate and the second substrate is transparent. A registration for the first image and the second image is determined, using a first pattern of the sample in the first image and a second pattern of the sample in the second image. The registration is used to overlay the first image onto a spatial dataset including spatial analyte data for the capture spots from the sample. A frame of reference of the spatial dataset is known with respect to the second image, based on the spatial fiducials of the second image.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 16, 2022Publication date: November 14, 2024Inventors: Olga Vorobyova, Brynn Claypoole, Dongyao Li, Neil Ira Weisenfeld, Didem Pelin Sarikaya, Peigeng Li, Guy Joseph, Eric Siegel, Naga Sudha Kodavatikanti

Publication number: 20230140008Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating one or more biological samples are provided. A dataset is obtained from nucleic acid sequencing of the biological samples. The dataset comprises a discrete attribute value for each of a plurality of reference sequences for each entity in a plurality of entities in the biological samples. A two-dimensional spatial arrangement of the plurality of entities is indexed, each entity independently assigned a unique two-dimensional position in a k-dimensional binary search tree, and the spatial arrangement is displayed. A user selection of a subset of the displayed arrangement is received. Each entity that is a member of the subset is determined using the k-dimensional binary search tree, thus identifying a subset of entities. Each entity in the subset of entities is assigned to a user-provided category, and the dataset is modified to store an association of each entity in the subset to the category.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2022Publication date: May 4, 2023Inventors: Eric Siegel, Guy Joseph, Jasper Staab, Jessica Hamel

Publication number: 20190072522Abstract: An in-line inspection device and methods of operation thereof for identifying and characterizing features of a metallic pipe structure are disclosed. An in-line inspection device with a central body supports an instrument apparatus which includes a plurality of magnetic members to magnetically saturate the pipe, and a plurality of magnetic sensor assemblies to detect magnetic flux leakage signals caused by pipe features. The plurality of magnetic sensor assemblies are positioned such that some are as close as practicable to the internal surface of the pipe, and others are at a predetermined offset distance from the internal surface of the pipe. By analyzing and comparing the outputs of the magnetic sensor assemblies, pipeline features can be identified and characterized.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 6, 2018Publication date: March 7, 2019Inventor: Guy Joseph Daniel DESJARDINS

Patent number: 9519712Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to evaluate a search engine using search results retrieved from a plurality of different search engines. For example, a controller can randomly distribute a set of pre-formulated queries to a plurality of computers to query the search engines at random times to obtain search results and combine the search results to evaluate the completeness of a query result provided by a particular search engine. The controller may simulate the random queries from users using a set of computers and may reduce the burden on the search engines by spreading out the query activities over a period of time, such as a month.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2009Date of Patent: December 13, 2016Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Colin R. Patent number: 8473524Abstract: The invention is directed to a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) update process for updating objects with respect to specifications. The process invokes dependence relations between objects. It relies on building a directed graph, wherein objects are the nodes of the graph. An arc (also called “edge”) is directed from a second object to a first object, the latter depending on the second object according to dependence relations of the PLM system. Thus, the update can be carried by browsing the graph along the direction of the arcs in the graph. Owing to the reversion of the graph with respect to the dependence of objects, the simple solution of the invention guarantees that the update of an object occurs only when the ancestor object it depends on is up to date, and so on. This drastically reduces failures at update in practice.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2009Date of Patent: June 25, 2013Assignee: Dassault SystemesInventors: Frédéric Guy Joseph Chauvin, Michaél Eric François Diguet
