Abstract: A security post including an elongated body with a proximal end and a distal end. A plurality of cut-outs arranged on the elongated body. A wireless camera positioned substantially within a first cut-out, a solar panel positioned substantially within a second cut-out, and where the solar panel supplies power to the wireless camera. The security post may include an audio speaker positioned substantially within a third cut-out. A cap is positioned at the proximal end of the elongated body, and the security post consists essentially of thermoplastic, polyvinyl chloride, or polyethylene.
