Patent number: 11955145Abstract: Video output is synchronized to the actions of a user by determining positions of the user's body based on acquired video of the user. The positions of the user's body are compared to the positions of a body shown in the video output to determine corresponding positions in the video output. The video output may then be synchronized so that the subsequent output that is shown corresponds to the subsequent position attempted by the user. The rate of movement of the user may be used to determine output characteristics for the video to cause the body shown in the video output to appear to move at a similar rate to that of the user. If the user moves at a rate less than a threshold or performs an activity erroneously, the video output may be slowed or portions of the video output may be repeated.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2020Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: AMAZON TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventors: Dotan Kaufman, Guy Adam, Eran Borenstein, Ianir Ideses, Eduard Oks, Noam Sorek

Patent number: 11945648Abstract: A method for turning a pinion-driven lift-robot in an intersection of rails. Moving the pinion-driven lift-robot in a first motion mode to position the pinion-driven lift-robot in a first position at the intersection. The pinion-driven lift-robot is turned over a corner of the intersection that is accessible from the first position and that includes continuous rails connecting a vertical track and a horizontal track, whereby positioning the pinion-driven lift-robot in a second position at the intersection. The pinion-driven lift-robot is moved in a second motion mode towards a designated direction.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2022Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: COMMONSENSE ROBOTICS, LTD.Inventors: Shay Cohen, Guy Blotnik, Nadav Laor, Asaf Kaufman, Bar Cohen

Publication number: 20160178022Abstract: A wet brake assembly and method for cooling separator plates in a wet brake assembly are disclosed. The wet brake assembly may comprise a hub rotatable about an axis and a brake pack. The hub may include a plurality of legs that define a plurality of troughs in the hub. The brake pack may include a plurality of friction disks disposed around and rotatable with the hub, and a plurality of stationary separator plates. Each separator plate may define a gap with at least one of the friction disks. Each trough may define an unobstructed axial flow path between the hub and the brake pack, and each gap may define a radial flow path across the brake pack. An intersection between the axial flow path and the radial flow path is configured to change positions with rotation of the hub and the friction disks.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2014Publication date: June 23, 2016Applicant: Caterpillar Inc.Inventors: Steven Troy McGee, Bradley Guy Kaufman, Bryan Dale Van Dyke, Wesley Colton Worsham

Publication number: 20140145410Abstract: A bearing assembly for an oscillation joint on a machine having a tandem wheel drive. The bearing assembly rotatably supports an oscillating hub rotatably connected to a shaft. The bearing assembly includes a spacer having a stop face and an axial contact face. The spacer is sized and arranged to face a shoulder of the oscillation joint and to also support an inboard thrust bearing having a surface area greater than a surface area of the shoulder.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2012Publication date: May 29, 2014Applicant: Caterpillar Inc.Inventors: Bradley Guy Kaufman, Bryan D. Van Dyke

Publication number: 20140143993Abstract: A method for retrofitting an oscillation joint to provide increased wear life and a kit for retrofitting an oscillation joint to provide increased wear life are provided. The method and kit include a spacer having a stop face and an axial contact face with the stop face generally smaller than the axial contact face. Patent number: 8159752Abstract: Head-up display scenery alignment system, the head-up display being mounted in an aircraft and including an image projector and a combiner. The combiner is optically located between a user and a scenery of interest, optically transmitting a scene image of the scenery of interest to the user. The image projector projects an image toward the combiner, and the combiner reflects the image toward the user. The aircraft includes a heading angle sensor, determining the heading angle of the aircraft. The HUD scenery alignment system includes a moving mechanism coupled with the combiner; and a processor coupled with the heading angle sensor, with the moving mechanism and with the projector. The processor receives heading angle information from the heading angle sensor, and the processor determines the deviation of the heading of the aircraft from the longitudinal axis of the aircraft according to the heading angle information.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2009Date of Patent: April 17, 2012Assignees: Elbit Systems Ltd., Elbit Systems Electro-Optics ELOP Ltd.Inventors: Hagai Wertheim, Guy Kaufman, Erikos Amarilio
