Abstract: A fish bait keeper for shielding bait from undersirable fish and permitting un-shielding of the bait at a desired water depth where it is anticipated desirable fish are located, the bait keeper having, in one aspect, a hollow bait shield for containing and shielding the bait and related items such as line, leaders, connectors, etc. and a device for allowing the bait to be separated from the shield when desired or, in one aspect, the shield itself having parts releasable from each other to expose the bait or to allow it to descend from the device.

Abstract: A device for preventing or minimizing spillage of liquid from an inverted container of liquid, and containers with such a device the device, in one embodiment, having a body for securement to the container, the body having a fluid channel therethrough through which the liquid can flow and a movable closure member which, if not held against the body, moves away from the fluid channel so that fluid flow is not impeded and which, if pressure is placed against it, is held against the body to prevent fluid flow. In one embodiment, an air vent is provided through the body to facilitate flow. Another embodiment provides a frangible cover for an opening of a container of liquid and a container with such a cover. Another embodiment provides a container with a closure adhesively attached sealingly across its opening, the cover secured in one area by adhesive so that it will separate from the container in that area upon the application of force to the cover permitting fluid flow from the container.

Abstract: A catcher for material such as grass, leaves, and debris, the catcher connectible to a mower for receiving material discharged by the mower, the catcher having a hollow container and apparatus for moving material out of the container and, in one aspect, one or more access openings for accessing material in the container, particularly compacted or difficult-to-move material.

Abstract: An auto-fill flow valve for use in providing valving action in a conduit, the valve having a releasable locking mechanism which prevents the valving element from moving to seat against the valve seat until the locking mechanism is released. Also provided is a valve guide for receiving the releasable locking mechanism and holding it against the valving element.
