  • Patent number: 9633551
Abstract: An identification tag has at least a controller, a receiver for receiving wireless signals from an exciter, and a transmitter for transmitting wireless signals to at least one location receiver (which may be a WLAN access point). The tag's controller can determine the presence of interference from sources unrelated to the location system, such as smartphones, tablets, computer monitors etc., and signal an alert accordingly.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 7, 2014
Date of Patent: April 25, 2017
    Assignee: AeroScout Ltd.
Inventors: Daniel Aljadeff, Guy M. Duxbury, Robert D. McCulloch
  • Patent number: 9280758
Abstract: A method and system is provided that may be used to dynamically modify membership of a collaboration group participating in a collaboration session using dynamic situational information associated with collaboration session and/or collaboration group member candidates. The dynamic situational information may include collaboration session information, environmental information and context information. A change in collaboration session purpose may trigger a modification of group membership in accordance with a concomitant change in group membership criteria. A change of situational information associated with any group member candidate may trigger the modification of group membership, to add or delete the candidate from the group.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 19, 2006
Date of Patent: March 8, 2016
    Assignee: AVAYA INC.
Inventors: Thomas Chmara, Guy M. Duxbury, Alan Graves, Brian Vezza

  • Patent number: 5360949
Abstract: A plurality of pairs of parallel conductive wires are supported by a flexible non-conductive sheet, equidistant from two conductive ground meshes which sandwich the wires therebetween. Each mesh forms a matrix, defining an array of intersecting conductors. The offset of the intersections from the conductive wires incrementally changes along the longitudinal axes of the pair of conductive wires. This ensures the capacitance between each conductive wire and the mesh is substantially balanced regardless of where the conducive wires run, so that cross talk between the pairs of conductive wires will remain relatively low.
