Abstract: A transparent roller shutter having an apron that can be wound about a horizontal shaft or drum positioned above said apron, the shutter having a plurality of transparent horizontal slats hinged together by hinge devices, the opposing vertical edges of the hinged apron moving in lateral guides or slides, wherein each of the slats has a transverse profile curved in shape of which the concavity faces towards the shaft or winding drum when the apron is wound onto the shaft or drum, and wherein each slat of the plurality of horizontal slats consists of two or more than two modules or portions of slats that are abutting and are assembled by engagement of the ends of same.
