  • Publication number: 20040029075
Abstract: In an arrangement for anchoring a threaded implant (1) in dentine (2) by means of a screwing instrument (6), use is made of an implant which, at its upper part, is provided with an anchoring hole (1c) for a screw (5) intended to secure an element or fixture holder (4) that can be attached to the implant. The centre axis of the anchoring hole is inclined in relation to the longitudinal axis (1b) of the implant. The element is provided with means (4d) for cooperation with the instrument (6). The element and its means of cooperation permit application of the instrument in a way which ensures that the axis of rotation (6d) of the instrument essentially coincides with a continuation of the longitudinaxis (1b) of the implant.

  • Patent number: 6280193
Abstract: The invention concerns dental implants, more particularly a dental implant (1) comprising an external thread (2) and an internal thread (6). Said dental implant (1) is made of zirconium oxide. The invention also concerns a method for moulding said dental implant using metal inserts (7, 9).

  • Patent number: 6227117
Abstract: A device for retaining an element ejected by a pyrotechnic device when it is fired comprises at least one metal cap placed behind the nozzle of the device and designed to receive the ejected element, the cap being held in position by curved rigid links. The kinetic energy of the captured element carries along the cap and the captured element and the motion of the assembly is braked by the deformation of the rigid links. Application especially to the retaining of the rear igniter of a missile.

  • Patent number: 5429504
Abstract: The drill consists of a cylindrical body (1) in which at least two helical flutes (2) are hollowed out, which helical flutes (2) delimit as many helical cutting edges (3), this body (1) being extended via a drive shank (4). The body (1) is equipped with guide marks consisting of circumferential grooves (7), having a profile substantially in the shape of an arc of a circle, which are formed in the cylindrical body (1), and of an elastic ring (8, 9 or 10) which has a profile adapted to that of the grooves (7) and a more or less toric shape and which is capable of being placed, as desired, in one or other of these grooves (7), before the drill is put into operation, and of remaining therein until completion of this operation.

  • Patent number: 5178539
Abstract: A dental implant comprises an insert member received into the jaw and an implant head connected thereto. The insert member has a straight part, the end of which is flush with the surface of the jaw when the member is inserted into the jaw. The implant head is detachably connected to the insert member and a dental prosthesis is mounted thereon. The insert member and the implant head are innerconnected by a ball joint permitting angular orientation of the implant head relative to the insert member. A bendable connector element connects the implant head to the insert member by extending through cavities located therein, the connector element being bendable, in the vicinity of the center of the ball joint.

  • Patent number: 5078044
Abstract: A turret comprising a rotating joint and an angular velocity reduction device is disclosed. A tracking turret comprises an angular velocity reduction device with an elliptical wave generator, an externally-toothed flexible ring and an internally-toothed rigid ring, and a rotating joint used for the transmission of electrical signals. The invention can be applied chiefly to the making of close-range anti-aircraft defense turrets.
