Abstract: In a computer system having a memory, a processor, and a network interface, a method for listening on multiple conferencing interfaces having the steps of loading a set of transport components into the memory; initializing each transport components of the set of transport components to listen on a particular conferencing interface using the network interface, each transport component of the set of transport components listening to a different conferencing interface; receiving an incoming call signal on the network interface having an incoming conferencing interface; processing the incoming call signal to detect the incoming conferencing interface; and launching an application based on the incoming conferencing interface.

Abstract: A method is provided for optimally setting the receiver window size in a flow controlled protocol in order to minimize queuing in a packet telecommunications network. Embodiments according to the present invention are operable at an explicit path to identify per connection information from host address or physical interface, flow direction, or any combination of these elements. The present invention may function in conjunction with a rate detection method that determines both a message serialization delay component and a data size invariant delay component.

An apparatus for dynamically launching a conferencing application upon the receipt of an incoming call having a call directing module; a process manager coupled to the call directing module; and, a conferencing component coupled to the network interface; and the call directing module; the conferencing component containing a circuit for notifying the call directing module upon receipt of an incoming call and causing the call director to signal the process manager to activate a conferencing application.

Abstract: This invention pertains to a method of reconfiguring a family of the armored, tracked vehicle of the troop carrying type to enhance producibility and protection from mine blast fragments. By using the configuration and modification disclosed herein, mine blast protection, vertical obstacle crossing capability and cross country mobility are enhanced.

Abstract: A system and method which enables teleconference members to share files during a teleconference. An endpoint including a processor with a memory coupled thereto. The memory stores a teleconferencing application. A file sharing mechanism is associated with the application at run time. The file sharing mechanism generates a window on the local display in which the local member of the teleconference may post advertisements for files thereby making the file sharable. The local endpoint sends the advertisement to a remote endpoint. A corresponding accessory receives the advertisement and posts it in the remote window. A local member can copy remotely posted files by manipulating the corresponding advertisement.

Abstract: This invention pertains to a method of rear drive conversion of the M113 family of vehicles to provide a light, mobile and tactical hybrid vehicle. The method includes stripping an M113 to a base aluminum hull and providing modified or newly fabricated parts to enable the conversion. Using the rear drive conversion process disclosed herein, critical operations parameters such as volume under armor, mobility, air transportability and vehicle performance efficiency per unit weight are significantly increased.
