  • Patent number: 11029108
Abstract: A device for assisting loading rounds into a firearm magazine (70) includes a body (12) that locks to the magazine using a catch pin 16. The body has a top opening (32) for a round (74). A press (40) hinged to the body top includes two plungers (44, 46) projecting down and aligned to enter the opening. A bullet pusher (60) is hinged to the body front and has a tongue (68) with a pushing surface (64). A wire (54) couples the press and pusher so that when the press is moved down, the pusher is moved out, and vice versa. A round is placed in the opening and on the tongue and the press is moved down to withdraw the tongue and push the round partly into the magazine. The pusher is then moved to the body to raise the press and push the round fully into the magazine.

  • Patent number: 10598456
Abstract: A loader (10) facilitates loading loose rounds into a firearm magazine (60). It comprises a body (12) that fits on and is locked to the magazine using a locker (40). A spring-loaded press (30) with a plunger (34) is coupled to the body and is tiltable from above to between the magazine's lips (64). To load a round, the user fits the loader onto and locks it to the magazine and forces the spring-loaded press down so the plunger pushes the topmost round and/or follower down enough to insert a new round, case first, until it meets the plunger. Then the user reduces force on the press to allow the plunger to be lifted up so that the plunger is cleared from the magazine, whereupon the user can nudge the partially inserted round rearwardly to its final position in the magazine.

  • Patent number: 10539383
Abstract: An unloader (10) for firearm magazines (40) has a plate hingedly coupled to a back of the magazine so the plate can be moved against or tilted away from the magazine. The plate has a projecting plunger at its top that can push a round out of the top of the magazine when the plate is moved against the magazine's back. The plate is hingedly coupled to the magazine by holding it with a thumb or finger or by hinging it to an adapter that is coupled to the magazine. A user holds the adapter or the plate against the magazine and moves the plate between open and closed positions. In the closed position the plunger forces the top round forward and out from the lips of the magazine and in the open position the plunger allows the magazine's follower to push a second round into the top position.

  • Patent number: 9212859
Abstract: A magazine loader (10) facilitates loading loose rounds into a firearm magazine. The loader comprises a body (12) with finger rests (14), a plunger tooth (18), a pusher element (20), and a spring (22). The body includes an opening (16) to accept the magazine. The tooth pushes down the topmost round (50). The pusher element and the spring push the loader up after each round is partially loaded. To load a round, the loader is fitted on the magazine and forced down so its tooth pushes the topmost round down sufficient to insert a new round, rim first, until it engages the plunger. Then, the user reduces force on the loader to allow the pusher to lift the loader up so that the plunger is cleared from the magazine, whereupon the partially inserted round can be forced rearwardly to its final position in the magazine.

  • Patent number: 9057570
Abstract: A magazine loader (10) for firearm magazines (40) has a projecting side button (50) coupled to a follower (52). Two similar and substantially flat flaps (12, 14) are hinged by a pin (18) along their longer side. A torsion spring (16) encompasses the pin and is positioned between the flaps, forcing them apart. Each flap has a substantially rectangular opening (20A, 20B) sized and positioned to fit over a magazine. The flaps can angle between an open position and a closed (parallel and touching) position. To load the magazine, a user squeezes and holds the flaps ends closed to align the openings so that the openings can be slid over the magazine to push the button down. Upon releasing the flaps they open, locking the openings on the magazine. Rounds (60) then can easily be loaded into the magazine. The loader may use a grasping member in lieu of flaps.

  • Patent number: 7805874
Abstract: A firearm magazine loader for loading both rounds held by a stripper clip and for loading loose rounds into a magazine comprises, in one aspect, a stick-like body having a lower portion adapted to fit over and attach to an open top end of a magazine and an upper portion for receiving a loaded stripper clip or loose rounds. A tiltable and slideable slider is coupled inseparably to slots in the upper portion and slidable along it. Loading is achieved by using the slider to thrust down the top-most round in the upper portion, causing all other rounds below to be forced sequentially and quickly into the magazine. The loader also includes and unloading flange for unloading rounds from the magazine.

  • Patent number: 7637048
Abstract: A firearm magazine loader (30) comprises a body (32) coupled to a movable press (40), a plunger (20) extending out of the press towards the body, and a magazine aligner (52). The body is hollow and adapted to fit and slide over an open side of a magazine (10). A spring (48) is positioned between the body and the press to force them apart. To load the magazine, the user squeezes the press towards the body such that plunger is over a topmost round (12) in the magazine, and then presses down the loader, causing the plunger to force the topmost round further into the magazine to form a vacant space below lips (14) of the magazine. This enables a new round (13) to be rearwardly, case first, loaded inside the vacant space. The user then eases the down force on the loader allowing the spring (16) of the magazine to force up all the rounds in the magazine towards the lips while releasing the press for allowing the spring of the press to force the press and plunger back to their original position.

  • Patent number: 7059077
Abstract: A magazine loader comprises a magazine compartment (30), an elongated slideway (14) having a bullet and a case grooves (18, 22), respectively, along its length profiled to receive and retain the distal ends of rounds (50) between them, and a slider (40) slidable in slideway (14). A magazine (60) is positioned in compartment (30) such that its open end is perpendicular and in continuation to slide-way (14), and is leveled to receive rounds (50) slidable in slideway (14). Slider (40) is moved away from magazine (60) and a plurality of rounds (50) are sequentially placed in slideway (14) in and between grooves (18, 22). When all rounds (50) are placed in slideway (14), slider (40) is used to thrust all rounds (50) into magazine (60) with a single quick hand stroke.

  • Patent number: 6810616
Abstract: A fiream magazine loader and unloader accessory (10) comprises a main body (12) adapted to fit over an open end of a magazine (70) and a tiltable alternate round thruster (50) mounted in the main body above the magazine's open end. The alternate round thruster includes two plungers (62) and (64), each positioned above a column of rounds (80, 82) of the magazine. Loading is achieved by thrusting inside the magazine the topmost round of the magazine using the plunger above to provide a vacant space for a new round to be rearwardly inserted. Unloading is achieved by thrusting inside the magazine the second-to-topmost round of the magazine with the plunger above to release spring (78) pressure from the topmost round so that it can gravitationlly and forwardly unload.
