    Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and signal-bearing medium that in an embodiment compare versions and mark an entire region as changed when the number of changes to the region exceeds a threshold. In contrast, when the number of changes in a region does not exceed the threshold, the individual changes are marked. In this way, a user can distinguish between versions both when the number of changes to a region is few and when the number of changes is large.
