  • Patent number: 11648918
Abstract: A compensation control system is provided for preventing braking inconvenience of a flex brake that compensates for brake hydraulic pressure only for initial braking when a brake mode is forcibly switched, thus allowing a driver to recognize a change in braking force, and thereby improving stability when a vehicle is driven. The control system forcibly switches the brake mode, selected by a driver when a booster system fails, into a normal brake mode, and compensates to reduce the magnitude of brake hydraulic pressure, which is to be reduced when the brake mode is forcibly switched, during initial braking.

  • Patent number: 11414061
Abstract: A variable type flex brake system includes: a driving control unit that receives interior or exterior information of a vehicle, provides an autonomous driving control mode or a normal driving control mode, calculates a required braking force in the autonomous driving and normal driving control modes, and generates a braking force signal corresponding to the required braking force; a first selection unit selecting a braking slope corresponding to a speed belonging to any one of low-speed, medium-speed, and high-speed sections to generate a first braking map; a second selection unit selecting a braking slope corresponding to a speed belonging to remaining speed sections that are not selected in the first selection unit, to generate a second braking map; and a braking control unit generating a braking-hydraulic-pressure signal based on the first or second braking map in response to the required braking force signal.

  • Patent number: 11225236
Abstract: An electric brake booster is equipped with a pressure balance detecting device, which generates braking force. The electric brake booster includes: a first pressure device, which generates pressure as the driver manipulates the brake pedal; a second pressure device, which generates the same pressure as the first pressure device and generates driving power; a master chamber, which receives resultant force of brake pedal effort and driving power of a motor from a master piston that moves in the second pressure device; and a pressure balance detecting device, which detects whether a predetermined ratio is maintained between the pressure of the first pressure device applied to one side of the pressure balance detecting device and the pressure of the master chamber applied to the other side of the pressure balance detecting device.

  • Publication number: 20200172071
Abstract: An electric brake booster includes: a first pressure device, which generates brake fluid pressure via manipulation of a brake pedal; a second pressure device, which is connected to the first pressure device through a flow path at one side of the second pressure device, receives brake fluid pressure from the first pressure device, and receives driving power of a motor connected to another side of the second pressure device; a sensing unit mounted in the motor and measuring a displacement of the brake pedal and a rotation angle of the motor; and a buffer device connected to the second pressure device and preventing an increase in pressure of the brake pedal when the motor does not operate, in which motor rotation is controlled with a displacement of the brake pedal.
