These chips may be dispensed individually, in stacks or automatically loaded into a table chip tray back module. The kiosk is interactive with the casino's accounting system so as to report the dispensing of casino chips or receipt of casino chips. One preferred embodiment consists of a casino back room, cage, or Pit area chip tray management device that can be utilized by casino personnel to physically accept and count dumped gaming chips, communicate information with an ICT Intelligent Chip Tray Module, and automatically reload the chip tray per computer controlled specifications for any given table ID or chip loading requirement.

    Abstract: A lottery terminal or kiosk such as a video lottery terminal, a lottery ticket printing terminal and/or other remotely controlled retail or gaming kiosk, which allows for transactions of the type in which a user can deposit currency that is validated by a bill validator, and valid currency is stored in an intelligent cash box within the kiosk. The kiosk system then credits the user with credits equal to the amount received to allow the purchase of selected items such as lottery tickets. The system includes the components necessary to allow the selection and printing of lottery tickets, or other vended items, as appropriate. The system also includes the components necessary to allow independent monitoring of the intelligent cash box memory from a remote site. The memory of the intelligent cash box can be accessed and monitored through the bill validator by means of IrDA, RFID, or other wireless means.

    Abstract: A bill acceptor assembly for accepting bills, vouchers, scrip, tickets and/or currency at a gaming table. The bill acceptor assembly includes a note feeder capable of accepting a stack of individual notes from the top side of a table and providing the stack of notes to a validator assembly located underneath the table. The note feeder has a cavity configured to receive at least one note, an opening within the cavity to allow the at least one note to pass through the opening, and an escrow chamber to temporarily store the stack of notes passed through the opening. A plunger may be used to push the at least one note within the cavity through the opening and into the escrow chamber. A transportation system is provided to pass note within the escrow chamber to a validator assembly.

The bill acceptor assembly includes a note feeder having an intake opening adapted to receive one or more notes. The note feeder may be mounted to a table to allow a user to insert notes into the intake opening. The notes are passed to a validator located underneath the table. The validator is configured to validate the notes and separate valid notes from invalid notes. The validator passes the valid notes to a cash box located underneath the table and passes the invalid notes to a rejection slot formed on the note feeder.
