Abstract: A bedding assembly for retention of bedding and facile remaking of a bed includes a sleeve that is configured for insertion of a mattress. The sleeve is configured to substantially cover the mattress. A first perimeter portion of a covering is coupled to a foot end and opposing longitudinal sections of the sleeve. The covering, which is substantially complementary to an upper surface of the mattress, and the sleeve define a pocket bounded by the foot end and the opposing longitudinal sections of the sleeve. A second perimeter portion, which is not coupled to the sleeve, is configured for entry of the user into the pocket. The covering is coupled to the sleeve such that the covering is positionally restrained relative to the sleeve. The covering is readily repositioned over the sleeve upon exiting of the user from the pocket.
