    Abstract: A microwave dispersing apparatus of a microwave oven having a dispersing unit for evenly dispersing into a cooking chamber through first and second waveguides the microwaves generated by oscillation of a magnetron, the apparatus comprising: a rotary motor mounted on a first waveguide; first and second pulleys installed at the first and second waveguides for being rotated along with a driving rotary motor; a belt positioned between the first and second pulleys for enabling the two pulleys to be simultaneously rotated; first and second feeders disposed for being subsequently rotated by the rotating first and second pulleys; and first and second rotary antennas rotatively installed for evenly dispersing microwaves to the cooking chamber through the first and second waveguides as the antennas are eccentrically rotated by the power of the first and second feeders.

    Abstract: A power supply for a microwave oven comprises a high-voltage transducer for receiving an AC voltage from a first coil and generating a high-voltage in a second coil; a high-voltage fuse having a first end connected to the second coil, and a grounded second end; a high-voltage diode for absorbing a surge-voltage grounded in parallel to the high-voltage condenser; and a magnetron connected to an output port of the high-voltage condenser, for radiating microwaves. The high-voltage fuse comprises an insulating member; a first fuse holder disposed in the insulating member; a second fuse holder having an annular ground ring opposed to the first fuse holder; a fuse body located between the first and second fuse holders; a lead wire electrically connected to the first fuse holder at one end thereof; and a fuse connection element joined to the other end of the lead wire.

    Abstract: A cathode structure for a magnetron used in a microwave oven comprises a straight central cathode support rod which extends through both a lower end cap and a filament cathode, and which is fixed to an upper end cap. An outer cathode support rod extends parallel to the central cathode support rod and has an upper end fixed to the lower end cap. A ceramic stem is formed with (i) an outer holding hole for fixing a lower end of the outer cathode support rod, (ii) a central holding hole for fixing a lower end of the central cathode support rod, and (iii) an annular groove. A conductive metal plate is fixed to the upper surface of the ceramic stem for connecting the central cathode support rod to a first outer connecting lead.
