Abstract: Herbicidal compositions comprising a substituted thiolcarbamate derivative corresponding to the formula (I) wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are selected independently from alkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and/or a chloroacetanilide derivative corresponding to the formula (II) wherein R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are hydrogen or alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, identical or different, R.sub.6 is an alkoxyalkyl group corresponding to the formula --R.sub.7 --O--R.sub.8 in which R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 are selected from alkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and, as an antidote, a thiocarbamic acid derivative corresponding to the formula (III) wherein R.sub.9 and R.sub.10 independently from each other are alkyl or alkenyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or R.sub.9 and R.sub.

Abstract: New succinic acid derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein A represents hydrogen, a naphthoxyethyl group of formula (b), ##STR2## or a substituted phenoxyethyl group of the formula ##STR3## and in this latter formula R stands for hydrogen or C.sub.1-4 alkyl,R.sup.1 is hydrogen, halo or C.sub.1-4 alkyl, andR.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each stand for hydrogen or halo,and agriculturally acceptable salts thereof are prepared by reacting succinic anhydride with an aryloxyethanol of the formula ##STR4## The new succinic acid drivatives of the formula (I) possess plant growth regulating properties.

Abstract: The invention relates to acetamides of the formula (III), ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 stands for a halogenated alkyl group containing 1 to 2 carbon atoms, preferably for a dichloro- or dibromoalkyl group;R.sup.2 stands for a straight or branched alkyl group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group containing 2 to 6, preferably 3, carbon atoms;R.sup.3 stands for an alkyl group containing 1 to 6, preferably 1 to 4, carbon atoms, an alkoxyalkyl group of altogether 2 to 6, suitably 4 carbon atoms, or a phenyl group;R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 together may stand for a propylene or butylene group;R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 stand independently from each other for hydrogen or a methyl group; andR.sup.4 and R.sup.5 together may stand for a propylene or butylene group.These compounds are antidotes and can be used along or together with herbicidal agents. The invention comprises such compositions and a process for the preparation of said compounds.

Abstract: The invention relates to compositions useful for prolonging the action and increasing the selectivity of herbicide compositions containing .alpha.-chloroacetamide derivatives as active ingredient as well as to highly selective herbicide compositions containing .alpha.-chloroacetamide derivatives as active ingredients and optionally an antidote wherein an animal derivative of the general formula (III) is used for achieving the prolonged action and increased selectivity. In the formula (III) ##STR1## R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 stand independently for hydrogen, a C.sub.1-6 alkyl, C.sub.3-7 cycloalkyl or C.sub.2-5 alkenyl group optionally substituted by a C.sub.1-4 alkyl group; andR.sub.9 stands for hydrogen or a C.sub.1-4 alkyl group optionally substituted by halogen, or a phenyl group.

Abstract: The present invention relates to pesticides containing carbamic acid ester derivatives of the formula (I), ##STR1## to pesticide compositions containing these compounds and to a process for their preparation.In the general formulaR.sup.1 is alkyl of from one to four carbon atoms;R.sup.2 represents alkyl of from one to four carbon atoms or (when X is alkyl of from one to twelve carbon atoms) alkyl of from one to twelve carbon atoms;R.sup.3 is H, methyl or ethyl;R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are, independently from each other, H or halogen atoms;n=0, 1 or 2;X represents alkyl of from one to twelve carbon atoms or an 4-aryloxyphenoxyalkyl group of formula (II). ##STR2## The pesticide of the invention can be used for controlling insects and mites.

Abstract: The invention relates to compositions (extenders) useful for prolonging the action of herbicides containing thiolcarbamate derivatives as active ingredients as well as to herbicide compositions with a prolonged action containing thiolcarbamate derivatives as active ingredients and optionally an antidote which comprises a diaminomethane derivative of the general formula (III) ##STR1## wherein the R substituents stand independently from one another for C.sub.1-6 alkyl groups or for C.sub.2-4 alkenyl groups optionally substituted by a C.sub.1-4 alkyl group; and a process for prolonging the actin of herbicide compositions containing a thiolcarbamate derivative and optionally an antidote, which comprises applying the above mentioned composition in a quantity providing the prolonged action simultaneously with or after the application of the herbicide composition.

The new complex composition of the invention is an inclusion complex of one more benzene sulphonyl urea derivative of the general formula (II) ##STR1## and two or more moles of beta cyclodextrine of the formula (I).

Abstract: New 2-amino-cyclopent-1-ene-thiocarboxylic acid-disulfides of the general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen, a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group having optionally a C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, hydroxy, carboxy and/or amino substituent, a C.sub.2-4 alkenyl group, a C.sub.3-8 cycloalkyl group or phenyl group, are prepared by oxidizing the respective 2-amino-cyclopent-1-ene-dithiocarboxylic acids of the general formula (II), ##STR2## wherein R is as defined above. The new compounds of the general formula (I) and their salts exert dopamine-.beta.-hydroxylase inhibiting effects and can be applied in the therapy.

Abstract: A method of treating mammalian noradrenaline malfunctions or dysfunction or effecting dopamine-.beta.-hydroxylase inhibition comprises administering an effective dose of an acid derivative of the formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.2-4 alkenyl, C.sub.3-8 cycloalkyl, benzyl or C.sub.1-6 alkyl which has a C.sub.1-4 alkoxy or a hydroxy substituent, or C.sub.2-6 alkyl with a carboxy and/or amino substituent, or C.sub.5 - or C.sub.6 -unsubtituted alkyl.

The compounds of the formula (I) exert dopamine-.beta.-hydroxylase inhibiting effects and can be applied in therapy.

Abstract: 2-Amino-cyclopent-1-ene-1-dithiocarboxylic acid derivatives of the formula, ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.2-4 alkenyl, or C.sub.1-6 alkyl group having optionally a C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, hydroxy, carboxy and/or amino substituent, with the proviso that if R is an unsubstituted alkyl group, this group contains at least 5 carbon atoms, are prepared by reacting 2-amino-cyclopent-1-ene-1-dithiocarboxylic acid or a salt thereof with an amine of the formula,R--NH.sub.2 (II)wherein R is as defined above. The new compounds of the invention exert dopamine-.beta.-hydroxylase inhibiting effects.

Abstract: The invention relates to a new and advantageous process for the preparation of substituted S-alkyl thiocarbamates having the general formula (I), ##EQU1## wherein R.sup.1 stands for a C.sub.1-4 alkyl group,R.sup.2 stands for a C.sub.1-4 alkyl or cyclohexyl group, orR.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may form together a C.sub.4-6 polymethylene group, andR.sup.3 stands for a C.sub.2-3 alkyl group.In accordance with the invention the substituted O-alkyl thiocarbamates of the general formula (II), ##EQU2## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each have the same meanings as defined above, are subjected to isomerization by heating them at a temperature of 130.degree. to 180.degree.C in the presence of dimethyl sulfate or diethyl sulfate to yield the appropriate S-alkyl esters.
