Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for changing a mode of a device by a server. The server receives, from a master device, at least one of a user preference document including information related to whether mode synchronization is activated between devices, a device context profile (DCP) document including a rule applied per mode, and a DCP directory document including information related to a profile activated in the DCP document. The at least one of the user preference document, the DCP document, and the DCP directory document is registered. When information related to changing a mode of the master device is received, the at least one of the user preference document, the DCP document, and the DCP directory document is changed based on the changed mode of the master device. The at least one of the changed user preference document, the changed DCP document, and the changed DCP directory document is transmitted to at least one slave device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for delegating content in a communication system. A terminal detects an event for delegating authority to use the content. The terminal selects at least one other terminal to which the authority can be delegated. The terminal transmits, to a server, a message requesting to delegate the authority to the selected at least one other terminal. The server delegates the authority to the at least one other terminal. The server transmits, to the terminal, a result indicating whether the authority is successfully delegated or not.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for automatically adjusting a received view according to mutual positions and view points of image reproducing devices by using the plurality of image reproducing devices and displaying the adjusted view. The view is adjusted without a necessity of manually selecting the view by a user, thereby improving usage convenience, and one scene (for example, a concert hall) is displayed in accordance with view points of several devices at the same time, thereby improving a sense of realism.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of efficiently inviting a subscription to contact information, the method including receiving a subscription invitation request of particular contact information of a first client from the first client; and determining whether a condition for allowing the subscription to the particular contact information is included in the subscription invitation request, and transmitting a subscription request containing address information by which the condition and the particular contact information can be received to a second client when the condition is included. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a communication service at a high speed in a communication system supporting various types of communication services without a waste of resources, power, or memories. Also, it is possible to provide a data transmission/reception method capable of easily and quickly providing a CAB service according to a selection by user's intention.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a communication history of a terminal in a Session Initiation Protocol/Internet Protocol (SIP/IP) core network. When a user having a plurality of terminals sends a subscribe request for a communication history of the terminals to a server, the server transmits all communication history information associated with the plurality of terminals to any one of the terminals each time the communication histories associated with the terminals are newly registered. The terminal, which has received the communication history information, can request and receive presence information of a corresponding terminal, which is included in the communication history information, if needed.

To this end, once a transmission-side server forwards a document forward request message including a document disposition rule with respect to a document to a reception-side server, the reception-side server checks a preference with respect to the document forward request message by using a preset user preference to notify a document change, and stores document data together with a disposition rule regarding the document data, such that efficient management and disclosure of private information forwarded to a user become possible and thus a CAB service can be easily and rapidly provided according to user's selection.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for searching for address book information. To this end, the present invention, upon receiving a search request message for searching address book information from a client, checks a search preference, searches for the address book information based on the checked search preference, applies a priority to the found address book information to create a final search result, creates a response message including the created final search result, forwards the response message to the client, and updates the preset search preference based on the final search result, thereby providing a search result optimized for a user.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for providing a contact through interworking with a Social Network Service (SNS) are provided. The method includes receiving, by a client using the other service through SNS interworking, a contact provided in the SNS, determining whether the other party's client having subscribed to the same service as that of the client is present in the received contact, and informing a user of the determination results. Based on the determination results, the client may determine subscription/non-subscription of the other party's client to the service, and may send an invite request for the service if the other party's client has not subscribed to the same service as that of the client. By doing so, the number of targets, subscription/non-subscription of which to a specific service can be determined, may be extended.

Abstract: A method is provided for sending an Instant Message Disposition Notification (IMDN) request to a receiving terminal by a sending terminal in a Converged-IP Messaging (CPM) service. The sending terminal generates an instant message to be sent to the receiving terminal, inserts an IMDN request message into the generated instant message, the IMDN request message including a predetermined response limit time, and sends the instant message with the IMDN request message to the receiving terminal through a CPM server.
