  • Publication number: 20080013142
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a laser scanning unit having at least two coupling parts, and a main body frame having a main body coupling part corresponding to each of the coupling parts, at least one of the coupling parts and the main body coupling part having a deformation limiting cut-out to limit a relative deformation of the laser scanning unit coupled to the main body frame.

  • Publication number: 20060285188
Abstract: A laser scanning device includes a device body, and a rotating polygonal mirror rotatably mounted in the device body and deflecting light projected from a light source. A cover member is mounted in the device body to cover the rotating polygonal mirror. The cover member has a slit for transmitting the light and an influent hole for letting external air flow in, and forms an air current rotating and descending at high speed around the rotating polygonal mirror. A dust collection member filters off dust included in the air flowing into the cover member through the influent hole by the air current generated in the cover member.

  • Publication number: 20060081774
Abstract: A mirror positioning structure for compensating skew and bow includes a mirror rotating member having a recess at one side to hold a mirror inserted therein and a rotation shaft protruding from an opposite side. A mirror position changing member has an opening through which the rotation shaft of the mirror rotating member passes such that the mirror rotating member is rotatably coupled with the mirror position changing member. A fixing member has a receiving space in one side so that the mirror position changing member moves rectilinearly within the receiving space.
