The method includes determining a first security client based on a security client list, where the first security client is used to decrypt encrypted broadcast data and the security client list comprises information regarding each of security clients available which provide information necessary to decrypt the encrypted broadcast data; and decrypting the encrypted broadcast data by using the first security client. Accordingly, it is possible to allow a user to receive various services.

The filtering apparatus includes: a mask generation unit which generates a mask to be used for filtering section data based on a section number in a digital broadcasting receiver and the mask generation unit determines whether to generate the mask based on an accumulated number of bit number 0 or 1 at each bit position of a section number already stored in the receiver. According to the method and apparatus, a section number of section data received and stored by a receiver is not directly compared to a next received section number, and by using a mask generated based on the accumulated number of the received bit numbers, filtering is performed such that the time for performing filtering is reduced.

    Abstract: An internet address system formed by introducing a E.164 number system of the ITU-T or a zip code system to IPv6 address system, and a hierarchical routing method using the same. Thus, a user can easily find an IPv6 address of a user terminal from his/her telephone number. The telephone numbers can be well linked to the IPv6 addresses, so that an internet provider can easily design and assign the IPv6 addresses. In addition, a hierarchical routing process is carried out by using the E.164 number system, thereby reducing routing time and improving a routing speed. The subscriber address can also be found out by the internet address of the subscriber. The IPv6 addresses and zip codes are well linked by applying the zip codes of the respective countries to the IPv6 address system, thereby efficiently using the information for network management and administration.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses an internet address system formed by introducing E.164 number system of the ITU-T or a zip code system to IPv6 address system, and a hierarchical routing method using the same. Thus, a user can easily find an IPv6 address of a user terminal by his/her telephone number. It is also possible to assign the IPv6 addresses relating to about twenty million telephone numbers in the country. The telephone numbers can be well linked to the IPv6 addresses, so that an internet provider can easily design and assign the IPv6 addresses. In addition, a hierarchical routing process is carried out by using the E.164 number system, thereby reducing a routing time and improving a routing speed. Moreover, it is easy to find out the internet address of the user terminal by the subscriber address. The subscriber address can also be found out by the internet address of the subscriber.
