    Abstract: An aqueous dispersion used for producing a conductive film is provided. The dispersion contains a complex of poly(3,4-dialkoxythiophene) and a polyanion, and is produced by polymerizing 3,4-dialkoxythiophene in an aqueous solvent in the presence of the polyanion by using peroxodisulfuric acid as an oxidizing agent or by using an oxidizing agent and an acid that is employed so as to lower pH of the reaction mixture.
