  • Patent number: 5265735
Abstract: The desktop organizer includes a main tray for adhesively mounting to a top rear surface of the computer keyboard and a set of removable compartments for detachably mounting to a rear edge of the main tray. Each compartment is provided with a upper forward depending flange for engaging with an upper edge of the main tray. The compartments thus depend from the main tray along a rear surface of the keyboard. The compartments are arrangeable along the length of the main tray in a variety of different configurations. One or more of the compartments is sized for storing computer floppy disks. At least one of the compartments is sufficiently short such that, when positioned along the rear surface of the keyboard, it does not interfere with a keyboard cord extending outward from the rear of the keyboard. The provision of detachable and reconfigurable compartments allows the desktop organizer to be configured to avoid interference with access to disk drives of the computer.

  • Patent number: 5219216
Abstract: The hanging diskette storage cabinet is a diskette storage box that may be hung between an ordinary pair of hanging rails in a file drawer. By this arrangement, a user may keep diskettes in easy reach and may secure the diskettes by simply locking the file drawer. The diskette box may also include a lid which has an upper recess surface such that, when the diskette storage box is hung in a file drawer, the lid may be open onto and over index tabs carried by files located behind the diskette storage box. In this fashion, the lid may lie flat over the files without damaging the index tabs and allowing the drawer to be closed with the box open. In a second aspect, the hanging diskette storage cabinet is a diskette storage box that may be variably configured. The diskette storage box is preferably dimensioned to accommodate an integral number of diskettes of a first size in one direction and an integral number of diskettes of a second size in the other direction.

  • Patent number: 5193771
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wrist support that is designed to maintain a typist's hand, wrist, and forearm in a neutral or aligned position. The wrist support includes a base member having an upper curved surface that partially conforms to the typist's wrist. The base member is preferably fastened to the user's wrist with a flexible strap having a plurality of hook and loop pile patches. An arm extends forward and upward from a front edge of the base member and has a support member at a distal end thereof. The support member is positioned under the user's palm to lightly support the user's hand without unduly restricting movement of the user's fingers. The support member preferably has an upper curved surface that is large enough to comfortably support the user's palm, but small enough so that the user may pivot his or her fingers up or down, backwards and forwards.
