  • Patent number: 7806316
Abstract: An integrated surveillance and transaction record system is used to monitor a bank and to save records of transactions. The integrated system includes a central database and server. When a teller executes a transaction, an interface detects relevant transaction data and communicates this with the central database and server. An image of the customer is also captured. The transaction data and customer image are saved as a record in a database. In a drive-in system, a teller identification module obtains a teller identifier and corresponding lane number. This permits the central database and server to match a transaction record with an image of a customer at one of multiple drive-in lanes.

  • Publication number: 20020118096
Abstract: A security system includes a central computer connected through a network to a plurality of remote computers. A database of user information is created at the central computer and copied to the remote computers. The remote computers include user interfaces for the collection of user information such a fingerprint and a user ID. When a user provides this information, the remote computer compares it to the database. If a match is generated, the remote computer authorizes access through an associated passageway. The security system can also be used to monitor user access times and to present messages to users.
