Abstract: An improved spraying apparatus for use in combination with a mowing apparatus is described which facilitates uniform application of a liquid spray to grassy surfaces while minimizing surface compaction, said apparatus being comprised of means for receiving liquid from a remote supply source and means for discharging a liquid spray onto the surface being treated, the spray pattern contacting said surface having a width substantially equal to the width of the swath cut by the mowing apparatus.
