  • Patent number: 11017091
Abstract: An example method includes retrieving, based on firmware map data stored in a firmware map, first portions of a system firmware while omitting retrieval of second portions to form a combined portion. The firmware map data is indicative of the first portions of the system firmware that remain unchanged over a normal lifetime of the system firmware, and the firmware map data is also indicative of the second portions of the system firmware that may vary over the normal lifetime of the system firmware. The method further includes calculating at least one master hash code based on the combined portion, and storing the at least one master hash code in a hash code table in association with the firmware map data.

  • Publication number: 20070040090
Abstract: A picture hanging system comprised of a horizontally extending rail attached to the upper portion of a wall on which pictures are to be displayed. Said rail is spaced a precise horizontal distance away from the wall. Visual exposure of the rail and associated hardware can be eliminated by covering it with a decorative moulding that is quickly and easily attached. Cable assemblies can be quickly and easily connected at any desired location on the rail with the associated small diameter cables extending vertically downward. One or more clamp and hook assemblies can be directly attached to the cables at any point on the cable. The pictures are then hung from the hooks. If re-positioning of the pictures is required this can be done quickly and easily. With pictures installed the system achieves the highest possible aesthetic standards by virtue of the fact that only the molding and the very small diameter cables are visible.

  • Publication number: 20060086490
Abstract: A fin tube assembly has a core tube of elongated transverse cross-section having rounded leading and trailing sides, opposite flat faces, and opposite open ends for flow through the tube. A plurality of fins project in opposite directions from finned areas of the opposite flat faces. The finned areas terminate short of the rounded sides of the core tube. A first internal rib extends across the interior of the core tube adjacent one rounded side and a second internal rib extends across the interior of the core tube adjacent the opposite rounded side to separate the interior of the core tube into a larger central channel between the ribs and separate side channels between each rib and the adjacent rounded side of the core tube.

  • Publication number: 20060086092
Abstract: An air-cooled condenser has a first stage comprising both a K and a D section with fin tubes fed with steam at both ends, and a second stage comprising a D section. Each core tube in the first stage has at least one extraction channel at the trailing edge of the core tube located in an unfinned section of the core tube and separated from the main section of the core tube by a rib or baffle. Extraction channels may be provided at both the leading and trailing edges or rounded ends of the core tube, or at the trailing edge only. Openings in the rib connect at least a central portion of the main section to the extraction channel. The upper end of each extraction channel of each core tube is connected via an extraction passageway and transfer duct to the lower ends of the D-section fin tubes. The D-section creates a strong suction action to draw steam and non-condensibles out of the first stage.
