Abstract: A package and dispenser for a continuous roll of plastic bags has a generally cylindrical shape and a longitudinal slot for dispensing the bags. Adjacent bags on the roll are attached by a perforated tear line. The dispenser is deformable to allow the operator to grip the roll by squeezing the dispenser, preventing further rotation of the roll, and allowing a bag to be removed from the roll. The dispenser is transparent, allowing indicia to be seen from a flyer inserted into the dispenser and around the roll. The flyer also blocks the slot so that bags cannot be removed during storage or shipping.

Abstract: A plastic film bag with overlying front and rear bag walls, the upper edges of which define a bag mouth. Pleats defined in each bag wall extend vertically downward from the mouth-forming edges. The pleats, upon expansion by direct finger engagement therewith or the application of outwardly directed opposite forces on the opposed ends of the mouth portion of the bag, cause a lateral separation of the edges for initiating opening of the bag mouth. The bag may be vertically partitioned into lateral compartments with at least one wall of each compartment including a mouth-opening pleat therein.

Abstract: A thermoplastic bag having front and rear walls with smooth upper edges defining an open bag mouth. A pair of laterally spaced integral loop handles extend upward from the bag mouth and include detachable mounting tabs projecting laterally inward from the handles at an intermediate point along the height thereof. The tabs are remote from the bag mouth and, in a bag pack, form the securing area for the bags.
