  • Publication number: 20240104510
Abstract: Systems and methods for inferring and notifying an end user about reduced availability of a target user or group of target users in a time range of interest. For instance, the reduced availability service includes components for collecting calendar event information and calendar settings information corresponding to a calendar of a target user, generating an interval graph data structure based on the collected calendar information, determining working hours for the target user, identifying periods of time where reduced availability is determined in the target user's calendar, and generating a notification of the target user's reduced availability for alerting the end user.

  • Publication number: 20230305997
Abstract: The disclosed technology is generally directed to the retention of online files. An indication that a communication from a first user to a second user includes a reference to an online document is received. Responsive to the indication, via a first processor, a first request for metadata associated with the online document is sent. The first request is based on permissions associated with the second user. A signal is communicated to a second processor such that: if the first request is granted the signal includes the metadata, else the signal includes the reference to the first online document. Via the second processor, responsive to determining that the signal does not include the metadata, a second request for the metadata is made such that the second request has elevated permissions relative to the first request. Via the second processor, the online document is caused to be marked for retention.

  • Patent number: 11606362
Abstract: Computerized systems are provided for detecting or receiving a sharing gesture in a communication group and responsively instantiating or updating one or more computer objects that include rich contextual data associated with the sharing gesture. These computer objects can be instantiated or updated based on one or more rules or policies. These computer objects or associated indications can be surfaced back to a user to give the user context regarding the shared resource. It can be determined whether a user has access to (or permission to access) such a computer object and/or an associated computer resource for presentation to the user.
