    Abstract: The invention is an apparatus for cleaning accumulations of dust and waste matter from filter media in industrial installations. The dust and waste matter is removed from the filter media with nozzles that move across the filter media in reciprocatory paths. The apparatus of this invention moves the nozzles in a continuous motion during normal operation without having to successivley stop and reverse at the end each path as in the prior art filter cleaning devices.
