Abstract: A tire made of rubbery material comprises tread (12) and two sidewalls (14) delimiting the tread, at least one of the sidewalls comprising at least one texture (16) that contrasts with the rest of the sidewall. The texture is divided into a plurality of adjacent patterns (18, 20) of identical external shape. All or some of the patterns comprise a plurality of texture elements arranged to form in the pattern a plurality of rows that extend in the same direction of extension. For a given pattern of the texture, the rows of texture elements in each pattern adjacent to the given pattern have a direction of extension different from the direction of extension of the rows of texture elements of the given pattern. The lightness of the rest of the sidewall, which is not textured, is at least 5 units greater than the lightnesses of the patterns of the texture.

Abstract: A mold (20) for curing a tire comprises at least one body, such as a shell (21) or a lining, and at least one insert (22) mounted removably in a housing of the body, the molding surface (23) of the body having a first texture pattern (24), the molding surface (25) of the insert having a marking pattern (26). The molding surface of the insert also has a second texture pattern (27) chosen such that the surface molded by the second texture pattern contrasts with the surface molded by the marking pattern (26), and contrasts barely, if at all, with the surface molded by the first texture pattern (24).

Each complex cutout (6) comprises a sipe (7) that leads onto the tread surface and a channel (8) that extends the sipe (7) into the depth of the tread and leads onto a surface (9) of the shoulder region (5). Channel (8) of sipe (7) has a main part (11) extending through tread (3) and a widened part (12) extending through shoulder region (5) from the main part of the channel to surface (9) of shoulder region (5). As seen in cross section, the widened part (12) makes, with the surface (9) of the shoulder region (5), an outlet angle ? of less than 90 degrees.

Abstract: A tire comprising a tread. This tread comprises at least one elongate block delimited by at least one lateral wall (5) and a contact face (7). The lateral wall (5) makes a non-zero angle with a transverse direction and the contact face contacts a road surface. The tire comprises at least one channel (19) extending through the elongate block and leading onto the lateral wall (5) of this elongate block. The tire also comprises a sipe extending from the channel towards the contact face, this sipe leading onto the lateral wall of the elongate block in a lateral wall outlet region. The lateral wall of the elongate block is inclined with respect to a radial direction (Z), at least in the lateral wall outlet region of the sipe, at an angle ? of between 20 degrees and 60 degrees with respect to this radial direction (Z).
