Abstract: A modular wear panel system for a chute assembly associated with a vibratory screening apparatus is formed with a rigid backing member that has one or more mounting clips affixed thereto. The frame of the chute assembly is formed with transversely extending angle iron members and U-shaped channels that are arranged for engagement by the mounting clips for support thereof. The mounting panels are removable from the frame supports without requiring the use of tools to permit a single person to easily change or replace panel members. Blending gates can be formed in a chute floor by removing and reversing a panel member for positioning in opposition to the flow path of material along the chute floor. The panels are formed in common, interchangeable sizes to permit panels having little wear to be switched with other panels that are subjected to a large amount of wear.
