  • Publication number: 20220274634
Abstract: Examples include systems and methods for lifting and moving gondolas using a modular gondola moving system. Components of a modular gondola moving system include interchangeable skates. The interchangeable skates are further removably attached to a longitudinal member which, when connected to the longitudinal member, form a skate system. Multiple skate systems are positioned to the underside of a gondola and may additionally be connected together by connector bars for stabilization and to form the modular gondola moving system. One or more lifting devices are provided independent of and are used in combination with each skate system for positioning the gondola on each skate system. • Patent number: 11399909
Abstract: A LUS robotic surgical system is trainable by a surgeon to automatically move a LUS probe in a desired fashion upon command so that the surgeon does not have to do so manually during a minimally invasive surgical procedure. A sequence of 2D ultrasound image slices captured by the LUS probe according to stored instructions are processable into a 3D ultrasound computer model of an anatomic structure, which may be displayed as a 3D or 2D overlay to a camera view or in a PIP as selected by the surgeon or programmed to assist the surgeon in inspecting an anatomic structure for abnormalities. Virtual fixtures are definable so as to assist the surgeon in accurately guiding a tool to a target on the displayed ultrasound image.

  • Patent number: 11333004
Abstract: A piston initiator is used on an assembly having a milling tool and a whipstock for creating a sidetrack in a wellbore. A piston disposed in an uphole position in a bore of the milling tool seals the bore from communicating with the port. A line from the port can communicate pressure to components on the whipstock for initiating their activation. The piston is movable from the uphole position, but is held by a releasable connection configured to release the piston in response to a predetermined force from fluid flow in a downhole direction against an exposed surface area of the piston. An uphole shoulder in the milling tool prevents movement of the piston in an uphole direction so the piston does not stress the releasable connection in response to reverse fluid flow through the milling tool.

  • Patent number: 11259870
Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, a a minimally invasive surgical system is disclosed. The system configured to capture and display camera images of a surgical site on at least one display device at a surgeon console; switch out of a following mode and into a masters-as-mice (MaM) mode; overlay a graphical user interface (GUI) including an interactive graphical object onto the camera images; and render a pointer within the camera images for user interactive control. In the following mode, the input devices of the surgeon console may couple motion into surgical instruments. In the MaM mode, the input devices interact with the GUI and interactive graphical objects. The pointer is manipulated in three dimensions by input devices having at least three degrees of freedom. Interactive graphical objects are related to physical objects in the surgical site or a function thereof and are manipulatable by the input devices.

  • Publication number: 20220015832
Abstract: A minimally invasive surgical system is disclosed including a processor coupled to a stereoscopic endoscope and a stereoscopic video display device. The processor generates an operative image of an anatomic structure in the surgical site, overlays the operative image onto the captured stereo video images for display on the stereoscopic video display device, generates and overlays a pointer onto the operative image or the captured stereo video images to display the pointer on the stereoscopic video display device with a three dimensional appearance, and switches between a first mode for input devices of a surgeon console used to couple motion into surgical instruments and a second mode used to control an interactive graphical user interface to allow interactions with the pointer and the operative image in three dimensions using input devices having at least three degrees of freedom.

  • Publication number: 20210395057
Abstract: An automation system uses cameras (134) and sensors (136) to identify a set of vehicle wheels within a lift area (118), then virtualizes the position and orientation of the vehicle relative to the lift posts (122, 130). Lift arms (124, 132) extending from the lift posts are moved to a first position that places a profile camera near the predicted position of lift points, and image analysis is used to positively identify the lift points. The lift arms are then moved to a second position that places an adapter camera below the identified lift points, and image analysis is used to confirm safe positioning below the lift point. Captured images and feedback from image analysis are used to improve and refine the system's ability to identify wheels, profile view lift points, and plan view lift points. The system may be integrated with lift arms allowing for automated rotation, extension, and elevation of lift adapters.
