    Abstract: The exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a system and method for providing underwriting insurance policies system on a computer system. The method comprises receiving a request from an applicant for insurance and receiving medical data of the applicant. The method further comprises denying insurance coverage if applicant has high cardiovascular risk, constructing an action plan for reducing the applicant's cardiovascular risk if applicant is denied coverage, and sending the action plan to the applicant. The system includes a tangible storage medium readable by an instruction processing system, means for receiving a request from an applicant for insurance and means for receiving medical data of the applicant. The system further includes means for denying insurance coverage if applicant has high cardiovascular risk, means for constructing an action plan for reducing the applicant's cardiovascular risk if applicant is denied coverage and means for sending the action plan to the applicant.

Accordingly, one aspect of this disclosure is a pharmaceutical composition for delivering niacin to a patient in need thereof, wherein the composition comprises a therapeutic dose of niacin and a therapeutically effective dose of at least one pharmaceutical agent capable of reducing an adverse side-effect of niacin in the patient, and wherein the pharmaceutical agent is delivered to the patient jointly with the niacin, preferably as a single dosage pill or tablet.

In architecture, the endoscope disinfecting apparatus includes a disinfecting basin, an endoscope body section, an insertion tube section and a basin lid. The disinfecting basin is for disinfecting the air/water and light tube of the endoscope. The endoscope body section is for disinfecting a body and eye piece of the endoscope, and is connected to the disinfecting basin. The insertion tube section is connected to the endoscope body section and is for disinfecting a insertion tube of the endoscope. A basin lid connects to the disinfecting basin and provides a watertight seal over the disinfecting basin.
