  • Patent number: 6070676
Abstract: An operating handle system for a hand-held power tool comprises an operating handle including first and second courses enabling it to be gripped in first and second orientations, respectively. A trigger is movably attached to the operating handle for movement between an operative position for energizing a motor for driving an operating element such as a grinding wheel and an inoperative position at which the motor is de-energized. The trigger includes a first portion associated with the first course and spaced therefrom when the trigger is in the inoperative position and contiguous therewith when in the operative position. The trigger includes a second portion associated with the second course when the trigger is in the inoperative position and contiguous therewith when in the operative position. The first and second courses are mutually perpendicular as are the first and second portions.

  • Patent number: 5997368
Abstract: A connector having a frame with an upper arm and a lower arm cantilevered from a center section to form a channel adapted to receive a section of a structural steel member. The frame has a conductor receiving area to receive a conductor therein. The conductor receiving area is located so that when the upper arm and the lower arm are compressed to grip the section of the structural steel member received in the channel, the conductor located in the conductor receiving area is crimped to the frame.

  • Patent number: 5966982
Abstract: A hydraulic compression tool comprises a frame and a first die and an opposite second die mounted on the frame. The first die is immovably connected to the frame and the second die is movably connected to the frame along a line of action and is positioned oppositely of the first die. The first die is positioned on the frame along the line of action of the second die. At least one of the first and second die has a work piece engaging surface which is disposed relative to the line of action at an angle other than perpendicular thereto.

  • Patent number: 5888104
Abstract: An electrical grounding connector comprising a U-bolt, an upper clamp part and a lower clamp part. The upper clamp part is connected to the U-bolt to clamp a floor pedestal therebetween. The lower clamp part is connected to the U-bolt to clamp a conductor between the upper and lower clamp parts. The upper clamp part has a plurality of barbs therein to penetrate through paint on the floor pedestal. The barbs are formed by piercing into a pedestal contact surface of the upper clamp part at an acute angle to the surface.

  • Patent number: 5281761
Abstract: A grounding clamp for permitting the grounding of an electrical cable provided with a 2-hole compression connector allowing the grounding of this cable to a metallic pipe. A mechanical clamp provided with a saddle portion and one or more U-bolts is mounted to the pipe. The mechanical clamp is provided with a mounting pad onto which the compression conductor is also mounted. A connection system is provided between the mounting pad and the compression lug allowing the electrical cable to be angled at different directions with respect to the metallic pipe.
