  • Publication number: 20140260884
Abstract: A substrate processing method includes following steps. Multiple sawing blades are applied to a substrate for forming multiple side-by-side grooves. Each groove includes a short edge, and opposite a first long edge and a second long edge. A milling blade is used for milling one of the grooves. During the milling process the milling blade starts at a feed point and moves along a first feed path head toward the short edge, away from the groove, and intersects with the first long edge of the groove. The milling blade then proceeds to a second feed path, followed by moving to the third feed path, and eventually stops at an end point. The third feed path leads the milling blade toward the groove, away from the short edge of the groove, and then intersects with a second long edge of the groove before it eventually stops at the end point.

  • Publication number: 20020193053
Abstract: A recycling process for cutting tools for machining printed circuit boards aims at recycling and reclaiming worn cutting tools. The process includes: grinding off the edge section of the worn cutting tools, complementing one end of the worn cutting tool to achieve a desired length, and forming a new edge section at the other end thereof. The worn cutting tools may thereby be effectively recycled and reclaimed to reduce production cost.

  • Publication number: 20020182021
Abstract: A cutting tool material rod for machining of printed circuit boards and method of fabricating the same, adapted for recycling worn cutting tools, includes the following process steps: cutting off the edge section of a worn cutting tool to form a base portion, supplementing one end of the base portion to the total desired length, and making the other end of the base section a machining section for forming a new edge section of the recycled cutting tool. The cutting tool thus formed may be used to fabricate drills or routers, for machining printed circuit boards without dimensional limitations.
