    Abstract: A self-centerable bearing retaining a spherical, porous bearing between a metal receiving and metal pressing plate in which the plates are integrally connected by a binder; one side of the spherical surface of the bearing being received in a corresponding portion of the metal receiving plate and an annular pressing and supporting portion of the pressing plate loosely receiving a spherical portion of the bearing, the annular pressing and supporting portion including a plurality of projections engaged in a plurality of corresponding grooves on the bearing, an annular flange portion on the inner peripheral surface of the pressing plate including projections engaged in a plurality of sloped recesses on a peripheral edge of the metal pressing plate.
