An oxygen concentrator is configured to generate and deliver oxygen enriched air to the patient according to a selected dosage. The oxygen concentrator senses and collects physiological data of the patient and collects operational data during the generation and delivery of oxygen enriched air. The oxygen concentrator adjusts the dosage of oxygen enriched air based on the sensed physiological data. The oxygen concentrator transmits operational data and the physiological data to a health data analysis engine. The health data analysis engine collects the data transmitted by the oxygen concentrator. The health analysis engine detects a triggering event based on the collected data and determines an action to resolve the detected triggering event.

    Abstract: A system and method for measuring the effectiveness of a dose from an inhaler on a user is disclosed. The inhaler includes a drug container and a dosing mechanism coupled to the drug container to aerate a dose from the drug container. The dosing mechanism provides the aerated dose to the user. A sensor interface is in communication with a physiological sensor. The physiological sensor is attached to a user to sense a physiological response to the dose. Physiological data is sent to the sensor interface. A controller is coupled to the sensor interface to collect the sensed physiological data from the user corresponding to the time that the aerated dose is delivered to the user. The effectiveness of the dose may be determined from the collected data. The dose amount or frequency may be changed or the drug may be changed based on the collected data.

Each of the POCs include a transmitter to transmit operational data. A network interface is configured to receive operational data from the POCs. A user database contains profiles of users associated with respective POCs. An analysis engine updates the profile of a user associated with a POC in the user database based on received operational data from the POC. The analysis engine determines a similar profile in the user database to the updated profile. The analysis engine predicts a service date for the component of the POC based on the similar profile and the updated profile.
