Abstract: A memory device of a memory module includes a CA buffer that receives a command/address (CA) signal through a bus shared by a memory device different from the memory device of the memory module, and a calibration logic circuit that identifies location information of the memory device on the bus. The memory device recognizes its own location on a bus in a memory module to perform self-calibration, and thus, the memory device appropriately operates even under an operation condition varying depending on a location in the memory module.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an image encoding and decoding technique, and more particularly, to an image encoder and decoder using unidirectional prediction. The image encoder includes a dividing unit to divide a macro block into a plurality of sub-blocks, a unidirectional application determining unit to determine whether an identical prediction mode is applied to each of the plurality of sub-blocks, and a prediction mode determining unit to determine a prediction mode with respect to each of the plurality of sub-blocks based on a determined result of the unidirectional application determining unit.

Abstract: A portable electronic equipment, such as a laptop computer, is provided with a handle which is slidably mounted to a body of the equipment. The handle comprises a handle body, a pair of sliding rods, and a pair of guide rails. The body has upper and lower fixing plates integrally formed at right and left ends thereof, with the upper fixing plate being provided with a guide groove and the lower fixing plate being provided with a guide hole. The sliding rods have first pin members which are vertically inserted between the guide grooves in the upper fixing plates and the guide holes in the lower fixing plates and second pin members which are horizontally inserted in guide grooves of the guide rails.
