  • Publication number: 20240159297
Abstract: A device for transmitting torque and axially securing a first torque-transmitting component (1) and a second torque-transmitting component (2) is provided. The first component (1) includes axially projecting first projections (3) distributed over the circumference and have first gaps (4) arranged therebetween. The second component (2) includes radially projecting second projections (5) having second gaps (6) arranged therebetween. Each second projection (5) on the second component (2) protrudes into a respective first gap (4) in the first component (1). At least two of the second projections (5) include a section (8) that projects axially in the direction of the first component (1) and is configured in each case such that, when the device is installed, the section rests axially via an end face (9) against the first component (1).

  • Publication number: 20240159298
Abstract: A transmission for a power train of a motor vehicle has a first stationary housing part having a first axial contact surface, a second stationary housing part, and a first sealing element on the second stationary housing part, the first sealing element being axially compressible. Additionally, the transmission includes a first planetary gear set including a planet carrier, at least one planet gear, a sun gear, and a ring gear. The planet carrier is fixed relative to one or both of the first stationary housing part and the second stationary housing part. One side of the planet carrier rests against the first axial contact surface, where the first sealing element acts on another side of the planet carrier to axially preload the planet carrier against the first axial contact surface to prevent the planet carrier from tilting relative to a rotation axis of the first planetary gear set.

  • Patent number: 8613687
Abstract: A planetary gearbox, for an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle, comprising two stages, each provided with a sun gear, a ring gear and interposed planetary gears. The ring gear of the first planetary stage also forms the sun gear of the second stage, and the planetary gears of both stages are guided by a common planet carrier, produced from a casting material, which accommodates the planetary gears of the first stage at an axial offset position to the planetary gears of the second stage. The planet carrier is designed as one-piece such that pockets are respectively disposed in the planet carrier for receiving the planetary gears of the first stage at an offset angle, in the circumferential direction, to the pockets for receiving the planetary gears of the second stage, so that it is possible to form the pockets during casting using slides.
