  • Publication number: 20220314945
Abstract: A control unit for a brake system of a vehicle. Using a sensor signal, provided by a sensor and is in regard to a distance moved by a driver braking-force transmission component or by a booster force transmission component, the control unit discerns if a movable piston of a master brake cylinder of the brake system is moved by a brake actuating distance equal to a specified, limiting brake actuating distance, and, possibly, to output at least one control signal to a pump control unit of at least one hydraulic pump of the brake system. The pump control unit can be activated by the at least one control signal so that brake fluid may be conveyed from a brake fluid reservoir of the brake system into at least one wheel brake cylinder of the brake system using at least one hydraulic pump controlled by the pump control unit.

  • Publication number: 20200217382
Abstract: A brake disc includes at least one friction surface consisting of a base body. The base body can be made from gray cast iron. At least one coating is applied on at least parts of the friction surface. The coating contains at least tungsten chromium carbide 2C and nickel-chromium NiCr. The coating may further contain tungsten carbide WC. The production of the brake disc according to the disclosure is also described herein. The coating has excellent oxidation resistance and good wear resistance even at high temperatures of up to 800° C.

  • Patent number: 10012178
Abstract: An injector, in particular a blow-in injector for gaseous fuel, including a first sealing element and a second sealing element, and in the closed state of the injector a first sealing region is configured between the first and second sealing element, at least one of the sealing elements having an elastic deformation region, the elastic deformation region being set apart from the sealing region between the first and second sealing element.

  • Patent number: 9394955
Abstract: A gray cast iron brake disk has a thermally applied wear-reducing surface coating containing chromium and/or tungsten carbides. The surface coating has a roughness reduced to about 0.5 to 1 ?m to shorten a wearing-in period.

  • Publication number: 20130153345
Abstract: A brake disc for a disk brake of a motor vehicle is made of cast iron and lamellar graphite. The graphite is removed from open cavities of the cast iron, e.g., by an ultrasound treatment, in order to improve an adhesion of a thermal powder coating subsequently applied on friction surfaces of the brake disk.
