Abstract: Method, system, and computer program product for automatic generation of a word-cloud for a content item are provided. The method includes: extracting terms from a content item using statistical selection criteria; weighting a term by a probability that the term is used as a tag; and generating a visual representation of terms with enhanced representation of terms according to the weighting. Weighting a term by a probability that the term is used as a tag may include determining the relative frequency of the term in a folksonomy of tag terms for a domain.

Abstract: A method of autotagging business processes for monitoring analysis of an IT system within an organization is provided herein. The method includes the following stages: modeling an IT system associated with one or more business processes, into a model representing the business processes as process instances; tracking a flow of information entities throughout nodes located along the process instances; extracting, at each one of the nodes, tags associated with each one of the information entities flowing through the process instance; aggregating over time, the extracted tags being associated with its respective node and process instance; and visually representing the aggregated tags in association with its respective business processes, based on the model.

Abstract: Machines, systems and methods for providing an authentication challenge are provided. The method comprises analyzing data stored in a computing system equipped with a graphical user interface (GUI), wherein the data stored is related to identity and relationships among items that have a profile; and based on the analysis, issuing a challenge to authenticate access to one or more content or services available by way of the computing system, in response to a user interaction with the computing system, wherein the response to the challenge is known to a user who has personal knowledge of the identity and relationships among the items with a profile, and wherein the user successfully authenticates against the challenge by interacting with visual presentations of the items by placing the items in an order that indicates a correct relationship between at least two or more of the items.

Abstract: Method, system, and computer program product for indexing and searching entity-relationship data are provided. The method includes: defining a logical document model for entity-relationship data including: representing an entity as a document containing the entity's searchable content and metadata; dually representing the entity as a document and as a category; and representing each relationship instance for the entity as a category set that contains categories of all participating entities in the relationship. The method also includes: translating entity-relationship data into the logical document model; and indexing the entity-relationship data of the populated logical document model as an inverted index. The method may include searching indexed entity-relationship data using a faceted search, wherein the categories are all categories required for supporting faceted navigation.

Abstract: Method, system, and computer program product are provided for visualization of user sentiment for one or more product features. The method may include: providing one or more product image templates, a product image template having a location representing a product feature; obtaining an aggregated sentiment score for a product feature from user generated content; mapping the aggregated sentiment score to a score visualization on a visualization scale; and representing the location in the product image template relating to the product feature with the score visualization for the aggregated sentiment score to provide a visualization of the product. The method may also include: collecting one or more text expressions from user generated content relating to a product feature; representing one or more text expressions in relation to the product feature in the product image template.

Abstract: A graphical user interface generation system offers a management module that displays GUI elements and a visual indicator in an editing window. The visual indicator is movable in the editing window, which has at least two panels and a divider between the panels. A configuration history of the divider including at least one prior location of the divider in the editing window is memorized. An optimization function is defined for determining a new configuration of the divider. The function is invoked responsively to the configuration history of the divider to determine the new configuration of the divider, and a current configuration of the divider is automatically reset on the display to the new configuration of the divider within the editing window.

The method includes: indexing previously generated medical monitoring rules to provide a rules index; and determining rule features by evaluating previously generated medical monitoring rules based on existing patient data. The method further includes: receiving a given patient's data; querying the given patient's data in the rules index to provide candidate rules; and scoring the candidate rules based on the rule features including the frequency a rule was satisfied for existing patients. Scoring the candidate rules may also includes scoring based on the given patient's data by executing a candidate rule on the given patient's data.

Defining authorization rules may further include: defining searchable document files for a free-text predicate with a field name as a token of permissible searchers and the field value as the searchable content.

Abstract: Method, system, and computer program product are provided for sentiment estimation of a web browsing user. The method includes: estimating for pages of a website a sentiment based on background content; receiving a path of pages browsed by a user to a current page; and estimating the user's sentiment to a current page based on the path taken to the current page and the sentiments based on the background content of the visited pages. The method may also include dynamically changing website content provided to the user based on the user's estimated sentiment to a current page.

Abstract: A method and system for visualizing shared route information are provided. The method includes receiving a route query from a user and retrieving multiple route results for the query for display as an overlay on a map. The method further includes processing the route results for display by dividing each route result into sub-routes, wherein a sub-route is a portion of a route between intersections with other routes and aggregating the sub-routes across the route results. Each sub-route in the route results is scored according to a defined scoring basis and represented in the display according to the relative score to other sub-routes. A user can select a displayed sub-route and the method filters the route results to remove any routes not including the selected sub-route and displays the narrowed results.
