Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products to measure the adaptability of complex systems, including systems of systems, are disclosed. The methods, systems and computer program products provide rigor and defensibility to the analysis and assessment of adaptability. As a result, systems can be designed or acquired that are intrinsically more adaptable and better able to respond to changing environments.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products to evaluate or assess strategies for operating and designing complex systems, including systems of systems, are disclosed. The methods, systems and computer program products provide describe and evaluate the behavior of systems in real-world environments where future conditions are highly uncertain are disclosed. The present disclosure identifies a set of important strategies, a set of concomitant actions, and a set of environmental conditions that form the basis of strategic change rules. These rules can be incorporated in a simulation to modify the behavior of the simulated system.
