Programs need at least one processor for receiving a request from a terminal device, the request including information of data and identity information of a device for receiving the data; and obtain the data corresponding to the information included in the request. The method transmits the data to the device corresponding to the identity information included in the request.

Abstract: In a desktop icon management method executed in an electronic device, icons are obtained from a storage device of the electronic device. Different icon categories are defined. The icons are classified in accordance with the icon categories. According to the icon categories, the icons are displayed on a desktop of the electronic device. A navigation pane is generated above the desktop. All the icon categories are displayed in the navigation pane. In response to an input via the navigation pane, an operation is performed to at least one of the icons in accordance with the input.

Abstract: A handwriting input recognizing method comprises following steps. Recognize an initial touch point of a touch. Determine an input region associated with the initial touch point. Display the input region. Recognize and display a handwritten input in the input region. Determine whether there is a handwritten input reaches the boundary of the input region. If yes, recognize and display the letters associated with the handwritten input and determine whether the input region receives another handwritten input during a predefined time duration. If yes, determine the sting of letters associated with the handwritten input is a first portion of a complete word, and the sting of letters associated with the another handwritten input is a last portion of the complete word. Combine the first portion and the last portion into a complete word. display letters of the first portion and the last portion in a substantially same size.

Abstract: A method for displaying desktop icons in an electronic device at first shows all icons as having a three-dimensional appearance and a default depth. A frequency of execution is recorded for each executed application having an icon and the apparent depth of each icon is changed to reflect different execution frequencies within a predetermined time period.

Abstract: An electronic device and positioning control method are provided. Programs in a storage device, executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to display a password inputting interface; recognize an inputted password; determine whether the inputted password matches a preset password stored in the storage device and display a positioning setting interface for enablement or disablement of a positioning device if the inputted password matches the preset password. The method activates the positioning device if an option for enabling the positioning device on the positioning setting interface is selected; and then obtains current positional information of the electronic device if the positioning device is activated.

Abstract: In a method for classifying and displaying icons on a desktop, a main interface having icons of all the installed applications is generated. Each icon is associated with an application installed on an electronic device. Classes of the applications are obtained and a navigation interface having a number of class icons is generated. A request to search for applications belonging to a single class is recognized, and a sub-interface having all the icons of applications belonging to the searched class is generated.

Abstract: In a punctuation mark processing method, handwriting area is divided into more than one segment and a handwriting input is recognized which is associated with a punctuation mark. The location of the handwriting input within the handwriting area is determined An appropriate location for the associated punctuation mark is determined on a display of a device. The punctuation mark is displayed in the appropriate location.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for managing icons on a graphical user interface (GUI) desktop in a computer system. When it is detected that a press-and-hold input is made with respect to a desktop icon, a first menu is displayed. The first menu includes a first menu item. When the first menu item is selected by a user, a second menu is displayed. The second menu includes a second menu item. When the second menu item is selected, the desktop icon is replaced with another icon.

Abstract: An electronic device with a display of stacked interfaces includes a touch panel, a display unit, a determination unit, and a processing unit. The touch panel has a detection unit for detecting a present touch on the touch panel and generating a signal of touch. The display unit can display two stacked interfaces, an upper interface and a lower interface. The determination unit is configured to determine whether a present touch is applied to the upper interface or to the lower interface. When the present touch is on the upper interface, the determination unit transmits the signal of touch from the upper interface to the lower interface. The processing unit is configured to control the upper interface or the lower interface to respond accordingly to the signal of touch.

Abstract: An operating method of a user interface includes the following blocks. A slide area and a zoom area are defined on a touch screen. The user interface is displayed on the touch screen. A slide gesture is detected on the touch screen. A starting point and an extending direction of the slide gesture are determined on the touch screen. The slide operation or a zoom operation is exerted to the user interface according to the starting point and the extending direction of the slide gesture. The user interface slides along the extending direction of the slide gesture when the starting point is located in the slide area. The user interface zooms when the starting point is located in the zoom area.

Abstract: A method for displaying a virtual momentum or inertia of an object includes detecting a slide operation applied to the object and obtaining information of the slide operation. An initial speed, a first slide direction, and a sliding distance of the object are calculated according to the obtained information after a user ceases applying a slide operation to the object. A slide path of the object is determined according to the calculated initial speed, the calculated first slide direction, and the calculated sliding distance. The object is controlled to continue sliding, subject to an apparent friction and apparent collisions with edges of a display screen, along the determined slide path after the user ceases to apply an actual sliding operation.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a storage unit, a touch display unit and a central processing unit. The central processing unit includes a control module, a searching module, and a spit-screen module. The control module generates a first window on the touch display unit to display a text document when the text document is opened, and determines a selected text of the displayed text document by a user according to touch positions when the touch display unit is touched. The searching module searches occurrences of the selected text in the text document, and the control module stores the searched text in the storage unit. The spit-screen module displays each occurrence of the selected text on a second window produced thereby with a size thereof smaller than that of the first window. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: Method for generating an interface for displaying network information comprising, obtaining signal strength of a network connecting a terminal device and a server, uploading information and downloading information between the terminal device and the server in real time. A network interface is generated according to the signal strength of network, an upload interface is generated according to the upload information, and a download interface is generated according to the download information. The upload interface, the network interface and the download interface are displayed and update in real time.

Abstract: Method for controlling a number of applications to execute input commands simultaneously comprises determining whether a share command is generated and identifying currently running applications when the share command is generated. The general input commands are received and are copied. At least one background application is controlled to execute the copied general input commands. An electronic device using the above method is also provided.

Abstract: A method for managing a file system includes traversing the file system to create a directory tree corresponding to the file system. The directory tree comprises at least one parent node and at least one child node. Each of the at least one parent nodes of the directory tree corresponds to a folder of the file system. Each of the at least one child nodes of the directory tree corresponds to a file of the file system. All the nodes of the directory tree are monitored to determine whether the directory tree changes. Changed information of the file system is extracted when the directory tree changes. A file storage device using the method is also provided by the present disclosure.
