Abstract: The present invention provides a service information platform with searching function, which comprises at least a photographic device, at least a user terminal, and a server device. The photographic device takes a picture of an object or a product label of the object and produces an image file. The user terminal connects to the server device and transmits the image file to the server device. After the server device receives the image file, a processor is used for producing an analysis result, which is used for searching at least a piece of service information related to the image file from the Internet or the classified service information database in the server device. Then the service information is returned back to the user terminal. Thereby, the user can acquire the service information from the Internet or the service information uploaded to the classified service information database by information suppliers.

Abstract: A displaying method for third-party information allows a first server to transmit at least one piece of third-party information to a first device according to at least one preference model, at least one piece of page information, a piece of location information, or a piece of time information. The third-party information can be also randomly transmitted to the first device. Thereby, the third-party information and a webpage accessed by the first device are concurrently displayed on the first device. The transmission of the third-party information from the first server needs no authorization from the website owner. Moreover, the third-party information can cover or overlap the webpage to be concurrently displayed on the first device so that the third-party information is not limited by the typesetting of the webpage. Accordingly, a simpler and more flexible displaying method for the third-party information is provided.

Abstract: A method for sharing and tracking comments on a webpage comprises steps of reading a webpage via a first device reading a webpage, accessing at least one comment according to at least one piece of website information of the webpage from a second server or from at least one third device, and then displaying the webpage and the comment on the first device concurrently. Generating the comment includes steps of reading the webpage and generating the comment corresponding to the website information via a second device, and then applying the second server to save the comment and the website information. The present method allows users to share their comments corresponding to the webpage with each other and allows users to follow a specific webpage or a specific user's account and to manage a authorized user list.

Abstract: A method for automatic display of a spread in ebooks is revealed. The method includes several steps. First scan at least one paper book by a scanner to get at least one original page file with at least two original pages. Then execute a transcription suite in a computing device for transcribing the original page file into an e-book and write at least one spread event into at least one electronic page of the e-book by an input device. Next use a reader to read the e-book. The reader triggers the spread event while reading the electronic page written with the spread event. Thus the reader automatically retrieves and displays at least two electronic pages on a monitor of the reader simultaneously. Therefore the spread covering at least two electronic pages is automatically displayed on a monitor of the reader.

Abstract: A method for rating electronic books (e-books) is revealed. Acquire and save an e-book in a memory device. Set up a criterion that includes at least one standard value and a plurality of regions defined by the standard value. Compile at least one electronic label corresponding to the region by an input device and save the electronic label in the memory device. The electronic label is linked to at least one electronic page of the e-book so that the electronic label is displayed with the electronic page when the e-book is retrieved by a reading device. The present invention can be applied to rating, copyright notice, and classification of e-books. The electronic labels in visual or audio form show messages related to e-book rating, copyright notice and classification.
