Abstract: A computer obtains a word from a word list and searches for position codes corresponding to the obtained word in a file. The computer saves remaining position codes corresponding to the obtained word into the word list. The computer converts the file according to the position codes of each word in the word list between simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese, in response to a determination that all of the words in the word list have been obtained.

Abstract: In a method of error recovery when downloading data files using an application server, the application server connects to at least one terminal device and several file servers. The application server receives a file downloading request from the terminal device, finds a first file server nearest to the terminal device, and downloads the required data file from the first file server to the terminal device. The application server searches a file configuration table to find a second file server which is away from the first file server when the data file has not been successfully downloaded from the first file server, downloads the required data file from the second file server to the terminal device, and synchronizes the data file of the second file server to recovery the data file of the first file server when the data file has been successfully downloaded from the second file server.

Abstract: A computer searches for a data list from a database and assigns data of a data field of the data list to a graphical user interface (GUI) widget in the webpage. The computer searches for a permission control list from the database and parses configuration information of the permission control list. The computer assigns the data of the one or more data fields of the data list to the configuration information of the permission control list, and amends a status of each GUI widget corresponding to the configuration information.

Abstract: A computer reads a patent application file from a database connected to the computer, and inserts content of the patent application file into a first file format. The computer converts the content of the patent application file in the first file format using a language converting API, and inserts the converted content from the first file format into a second file format. The computer replaces error words with correct words corresponding to the error words, in response to a determination that the converted content in the second file format comprises error words.

When a user inputs contents of the initial files to the server, the server obtains a template for each initial file. Abstract: In a method for generating sequence indexes for data files of a computing device, index information of a data file is received from an input device of the computing device. The last index of a data index list stored in a database of a storage device is established, and an m-digits number is generated according to the storage capacity of the database. The m-digits number of the last index is calculated to obtain a sequence number, and a sequence index of the data file is generated according to the sequence number of the last index and the index information of the data file. The sequence index of the data file is inserted into the last position of the data index list, and the data index list is saved into the database of the storage device.

Abstract: A server calculates a first coefficient according to a degree of difficulty, a degree of urgency, a degree of importance of a task, and calculates an employee scope according to the first coefficient. The server selects a second list from the first list according to the employee scope, and calculates a second coefficient according to a required time and a prescribed time limit for finishing the task. The server selects a third list from the second list according to a workload of each employee in the second list and the second coefficient, and selects an employee from the third list to handle the task and notifies the employee.

Abstract: In a method for generating drawing codes of a picture being drawn, a plurality of drawing elements and a drawing model for each of the drawing elements are defined. Each drawing model includes one or more drawing parameters. When a drawing element is selected and used to draw a picture, parameter values of the selected drawing element are obtained. Drawing parameters of a drawing model of the selected drawing element are replaced by the parameter values of the selected drawing element, to obtain drawing codes corresponding to the selected drawing element. According to a sequence of drawing steps of the picture, drawing codes corresponding to each selected drawing element are integrated into the overall drawing codes of the picture.

Abstract: In a cooperative drawing method using a computing device, a new picture and a drawing group is created. Client computers that join the drawing group are determined. The computing device receives a drawing request from one of the client computers, and assigns a control right and a drawing region of the picture to the client computer. The picture is allocated to the client computer having the control right to draw. According to changes to the picture, drawing codes of the picture are generated. The drawing codes are transferred to all of the client computers. The picture is stored into a storage system of the computing device.

Abstract: A system and method for correcting errors in downloading web pages provides a historic error resolving procedure and a common error resolving procedure. The historic error resolving procedure is for storing a download error and debugging solutions corresponding to the download error. The download error includes error positions and error types. The common error resolving procedure stores predefined error types and corresponding debugging solutions. If the download error of an error does not exist in the historic error resolving procedure, the common error resolving procedure is searched for the error types and corresponding debugging solutions. If the error type does not exist in the common error resolving procedure, an administrator is prompted to provide a new debugging solution to solve the error, and the new debugging solution is stored into the historic error resolving procedure.

Abstract: A system and method for analyzing official notices of an electronically filed patent application are based on a file server that connects to patent office websites, a database, and client computers. An official notice of the patent application is downloaded from one of the patent office websites according to a download command from one of the client computers, and is converted to an image format document. Character data of the image format document are identified, and patent information of the electronically filed patent application are extracted from the character data using a regular expression. In addition, the patent information are analyzed to generate analysis results of the official notice according to the comparison.

Abstract: A system for creating full-text indexes of patent documents includes a server and one or more computers. The server is connected with the one or more computers via a network. The server includes: a converting module is configured for converting the new patent document into a file in a predefined format, the file comprising multi-parts each corresponding to a part of the patent document; and a creating module is configured for appending the converted patent document to the database with a technique of creating full-text indexes and creating a full-text index for each part of all converted patent documents in the database. The method for creating full-text indexes of patent documents is also disclosed.

Abstract: An audio circuit arranged in a display includes an audio input connector configured to connect to an audio output connector of a computer to receive audio signals therefrom, an audio input circuit receiving the audio signals, an audio amplifier circuit connected to the audio input circuit to amplify the audio signals, an audio output circuit outputting the amplified audio signals, a first output connector connected to the audio output circuit, a volume adjusting circuit, a micro control unit (MCU) of a motherboard of the display connected to the volume adjusting circuit, and a speaker connected to the first output connector. The volume adjusting circuit receives a control signal from the MCU to control the volume adjusting circuit to adjust the audio signals, and the speaker receives the adjusted audio signals.

Abstract: A computer-based method for managing trademarks use is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: setting conditions for obtaining trademark information and setting an execution time for obtaining the trademark information; parsing a webpage on a remote server according to the set conditions, obtaining the trademark information from the webpage, and sorting the obtained trademark information according to the set conditions; uploading evidences of trademarks use to a local server and sorting the uploaded evidences of trademarks use according to the set conditions; setting search conditions, searching in the obtained trademark information and the uploaded evidences of trademarks use according to the search conditions, and judging whether search results are obtained; displaying a list of the search results if the search results are obtained. A related system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for monitoring information of trademarks via a trademark information Web site is disclosed. The trademark information Web site is accessible via the Internet. The method includes the steps of: setting search conditions, and periodically searching trademarks via the trademark information Web site according to the search conditions; obtaining a search result table in response to the searching, the search result table listing basic information of trademarks retrieved from the trademark information Web site under the search conditions; downloading detailed information of the trademarks in the search result table; and storing the detailed information of the trademarks downloaded into the database server. A related system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for managing the lifecycle of a patent case is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: uploading files of the patent case, and saving the uploaded files; analyzing the saved files to confirm the last completed control proceeding of the patent case; updating status of the patent case; generating a current control proceeding and a control date for the current control proceeding; assigning one or more undertakers to be in charge of the current control proceeding of the patent case; and system checking.
