    Abstract: A class-D amplifier (10) includes a logic circuit (40) for controlling the operation of a switching bridge (11). The logic circuit (40) transmits the differential mode of a differential pulse width modulation input signal and deletes a central portion of the common mode of input signal, while preserving pulses of a minimum pulse width following a rising edge and preceding a falling edge in common mode of the input signal. Deleting the central portion of the common mode signal improves the efficiency and reduces the electromagnetic interference radiation of the class-D amplifier (10). Preserving the pulses of the minimum pulse width ensures the proper operation of the switching elements (12, 14, 16, 18) in the switching bridge (11), thereby reducing the distortion in the signal amplification.

    Abstract: An insulated glass unit (IGU) comprises impact resistant safety films on the inner surfaces of the glass panes, providing an impact resistant, energy-saving IGU for use in windows and doors. A layer of the safety film providing energy savings may be trimmed from the edges of a glass pane; witch may be sealed within the interior of the IGU, preventing corrosion while providing no loss in impact resistance. A scratch-resistant, chemical vapor deposited coating may be added to an interior glass surface (i.e. facing the building interior) in order to prevent heat loss from the building. An IGU may have an Energy Star rating for both summer and winter use.

Further, the transforming element is determined to comprise of a plurality of lifting stages (309) which correspond to the lifting matrices (308). The metallic flakes are encapsulated with a silane in a hydrolyzed condition modified with a surfactant or dispersion agent. A mounting adhesive is applied to an outside surface of a first clear PET film. A silicone liner is adhered to the outside surface. A second PET film is bonded to another side of the first clear film with the film laminating adhesive containing encapsulated metallic flakes to form the spandrel glass film composite adapted for bonding to a glass surface after removal of the silicone liner.

The encapsulated pigment particles are blended into an adhesive which is compatible with the resin binder which is used to encapsulate the pigment particles. The resulting adhesive is used to secure one or more film layers of a composite window film structure together. The resulting films have haze levels which approximate the haze levels of dyed window films. The window films of this invention have outstanding light stability.

    Abstract: This invention relates to window films and more particularly to a process for installing window films in such a manner that haze is eliminated and the bond strength between the film and a substrate is enhanced. The window film application process of this invention is concerned with the application of a mounting solution to the window prior to applying the film to the window. The solutions used in this invention are solutions of metal salts of polymeric low molecular weight organic acids. Solutions of the sodium salt of polyacrylic acids are preferred for use in this invention. The concentrations of the low molecular weight organic acid can be from about 1 to about 33 weight percent.
