    Abstract: One example method for providing meta data information of a network function service (NFS) includes obtaining service quality data of a plurality of NFSs from a network function quality collector (NFQC) device, obtaining a service content condition from a network function service consumer (NFSC) device, obtaining a service quality condition from a network function management function (NFMF) device, selecting at least one NFS from the plurality of NFSs based on the service content condition, the service quality condition, and the service quality data, and sending meta data information of the NFS to the NFSC device. The meta data information of the NFS is a set of attribute information that describes the NFS or a set of attribute information that describes a network function instance that provides the NFS.

In at least some embodiments, a network service instantiation request that includes a preset service configuration event that is for a network service and that is related to a network environment of a carrier is received. Service configuration information is sent to a configuration system according to the service configuration event, so that the configuration system performs service configuration on the network service according to the service configuration information. In at least some embodiments, an instantiation procedure of a network service does not need to be manually interrupted to avoid a configuration error caused by manual editing and modification. In at least some embodiments, as the instantiation procedure of the network service is not interrupted, network service go-live efficiency is improved.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an SLA-based resource allocation method and an NFVO. The method includes: receiving, by an NFVO, a network service instantiation request, where the network service instantiation request includes an identifier of an SLA of a network service; determining, by the NFVO based on the identifier of the SLA of the network service, an NFVI SLA parameter required for instantiating the network service; further obtaining, from a VIM based on the NFVI SLA parameter, a virtual resource meeting a requirement of the NFVI SLA parameter; and instantiating the network service based on the obtained virtual resource. In the method, the NFVO considers the NFVI SLA parameter when applying for the virtual resource, so that the obtained virtual resource meets a user requirement and a qualification hit rate of resource application is improved.
