    Abstract: A control system for a laser includes a resonator cavity having a displaceable control mirror, a drive for displacing the control mirror, sensor devices located to sense the position of the outputted laser beam, and a control circuit connected to the sensor devices for measuring the positional deviation of the outputted laser beam from a reference position and for controlling the drive in response thereto to angularly displace the control mirror to correct the positional deviation.
