    Abstract: The present invention discloses a metamaterial-based variable capacitor structure, comprising the first substrate, the second substrate, the metamaterial dielectric layer, the metal floor layer between the first substrate and the metamaterial dielectric layer, the gaps and isolation holes periodically arranged on metal floor layer, the microstrip line between the second substrate and the metamaterial dielectric layer, the periodically loaded branches, the bias line and the choke branch on the microstrip line, and two feeding terminals on both ends of microstrip line. The capacitance value of the metamaterial-based capacitor with variable dielectric constant is adjusted by controlling the voltage applied to the said bias line, thereby realizing the time-frequency response, frequency selection, phase shift control, transmission matching, etc. based on the variable capacitor structure.

    Abstract: A dithiocarbamate functionalized dendrimer with an alkylenediamine core, a dithiocarbamate pendant functional group and a dithiocarbamate end functional group, as a soil heavy metal immobilization amendment, and a preparation method thereof are provided. The dithiocarbamate functionalized dendrimer has a chemical formula of (CH2)a{N[CH2CH2COOCH2C(C2H5)(CH2OCOCH2CH2N(CSSM)CH2(CH2)bCH2N(CSS M)2)2]2}2, wherein a is a positive integer larger than 2; b is a positive integer at a range of 0-4; and M is Na+, NH4+ or K+. The dithiocarbamate functionalized dendrimer with the alkylenediamine core is used for an in-suit immobilization remediation for soil contaminated by heavy metals, and has advantages of a small dosage, high efficiency, safety and rapidness. The dendrimer is able to effectively immobilize exchangeable and carbonated bound forms of the heavy metals, in such a manner that the immobilized heavy metals are able to resist an influence from natural environment for a long term, such as an acid rain.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to the device for animal inspection and quarantine and the preparation method thereof. The present invention is especially applicable to the detection of the pathogen of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) (also known as “mad cow disease”). The present invention employs a piezoelectric chip, a microelectrode array and a common electrode fixed on the lower side surface and upper side surface of the piezoelectric chip, respectively, and a BSE PrP antibody array to constitute the piezoelectric biochip for the detection of the BSE pathogen. The BSE PrP antibodies are immobilized on the electrodes of the microelectrode array in a format corresponding uniquely to the electrodes of the microelectrode array by adsorbing, bonding, cross-linking, embedding or self-assembly process. The combination of the piezoelectric biochip and a detector constitutes the piezoelectric biochip detection system for the BSE pathogen.
