    Abstract: A method for producing an additively manufactured, graded composite transition joint (AM-GCTJ) includes preparing a grating or lattice pattern from a first alloy A; the grating or lattice pattern includes pores in the grating or lattice patterns. The grating pattern is built from a first end to a second end being denser on the first end than on second end, and gradually reduces density by increasing the pore size and/or reducing density of the grating or lattice pattern; adding a second alloy B powder to the second end of grating or lattice pattern. The second alloy B powder is filled towards the first end. A composite is formed of first alloy A and second alloy B powder in the AM-GCTJ. The composite is subjected to hot isotropic pressing (HIP) to densify the composite. The second alloy B is graduated from the first end to the second end O of AM-GCTJ.

    Abstract: A temperature measurement system for very high temperature vessels is disclosed. The system includes a vessel to contain a heated gas therein. The vessel includes a wall having an inner side proximal to the heated gas, and an opposing outer side distal from the heated gas. The wall includes a threaded recess, with a stud having a first threaded portion threadedly engaged in the recess, and a second threaded portion extending outwardly therefrom. A nut is threadedly engaged on the second threaded portion of the stud. A retention plate is between the nut and the outer side of the wall with a first side coupled to the nut, and a second side coupled to outer side of the wall. A temperature sensor is disposed between the second surface of the retention plate and the outer side of the wall and coupled to the outer side of the wall.

The annular wall in the stress region may include a continuous skin to form a portion of the interior wall surface and an additive manufactured mesh adjacent to the continuous skin to the interior of the annular wall. The annular wall in the normative region may have a cross-section with a different structure than the stress region.

    Abstract: In a method and device for trackball-based press positioning, when the trackball is under pressure, the multi-legged support that supports the trackball will be deformed, and then transmits the deformation information to the processing module. The processing module compares the deformation information with the deformation threshold information stored therein. When it is determined that the trackball is under pressure but not in contact with the pressure sensing module, the trajectory of the trackball is recorded by the positioning module, and corresponding operations are performed on the displayed information in accordance with the trajectory. The press positioning information of the trackball may be recognized, and corresponding operations may be determined in accordance with the information.
