    Abstract: A battery cell includes an electrode assembly and an electrolyte solution. The electrode assembly includes a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, and a separator. The electrolyte solution includes an organic solvent and an electrolyte salt dissolved in the organic solvent. The electrolyte salt includes a lithium salt and another alkali metal salt different from the lithium salt. A value of the compacted density of the positive electrode sheet is in a range of 2.8 g/cm3 to 4.0 g/cm3. The radii of alkali metal ions in the another alkali metal salt are greater than those of lithium ions, and the alkali metal ions can be intercalated into some lithium sites of a positive electrode in a first discharging process, to improve structural stability, and increase components of organic lithium in an SEI in a formation process of an SEI film during first charging and discharging.
