Patent number: 7609843Abstract: The present invention provides a sound collector preferably applicable to an acoustic analysis with a high degree of accuracy and includes a sound collection hood having an opening at the front end and a sound reflective inner wall shaped like a rotating surface having a focus behind the opening at least provided on the opening side, thus forming an inner space, a microphone placed inside the sound collection hood with at least a sound receiving face oriented forward for receiving a sound wave entering the sound collection hood and an acoustical absorbent body formed in front of the sound receiving face so as to form an incident path for sound to enter the sound receiving face and in a shape surrounding the incident path.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2004Date of Patent: October 27, 2009Assignees: Hajime Hatano, Yamatake CorporationInventors: Hajime Hatano, Yoshihito Tamanoi, Shinsuke Terashima

Patent number: 7352875Abstract: The present invention provides a speaker apparatus which has a simple structure and a high directivity and which can emit sound. The speaker apparatus includes a hood having an opening at a front end with a sound reflecting inner wall shaped like a rotating surface and provided at least on the opening side, the sound reflecting inner wall having a focus behind the opening, the hood being formed with an internal space, and a sound processing section having a vibrating surface and a sound emitting circuit both provided in the hood, the sound emitting circuit vibrating the vibrating surface. Consequently, the diameter of the vibrating surface of the sound processing section, which diameter determines the spread, outside the hood, of a sound emitted by the speaker apparatus, can be considered to be larger than its actual dimension.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2004Date of Patent: April 1, 2008Assignees: Yamatake CorporationInventors: Hajime Hatano, Yoshihito Tamanoi, Shinsuke Terashima

Patent number: 4333285Abstract: A building structure including a beam of steel or rod reinforced concrete which is sheathed in a U-shaped cross section steel shell, a concrete column which is encased in a steel tube, diagonal bracings and connecting members thereof. The topside of the U-shaped steel shell is open to allow concrete to be filled therethrough. Steel rods are placed in the shell and a steel panel connecting member secures the opposed sidewalls of the shell. Steel bars extend from a floor slab into the beam shell through the aforesaid open topside, thereby rendering the beam integral with the slab. Frame-like steel members for confining reinforcing bars and/or shear connectors are disposed in the inside of the beam shell. A steel sleeve is also provided in the beam shell for defining a space for disposition of equipment. In addition, an opening is provided in the bottom wall of the beam shell so as to allow steel rods to extend from the wall into the beam shell, thereby rendering the beam integral with the wall.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 1979Date of Patent: June 8, 1982Assignee: Kajima Kensetsu Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hajime Koizumi, Kozo Toyama, Mikio Kobayashi, Hajime Hatano, Toshio Saeki, Kaoru Mizukoshi, Shinichi Tamanaga, Keizo Miyakawa, Tomoyasu Kato
