  • Patent number: 6396379
Abstract: In a coil device (1) which has a plurality of winding drums (6) on a bobbin (2) with a partition (5) formed between flanges (3), (4) at both ends of the bobbin, the partition (5) has a slit (7) through which a wire (w) is passed, and among winding pitches of the wire wound on adjacent winding drums (6) with the partition (5) therebetween, at least a pitch (P1) between a segment of the wire passing through the slit and its adjacent segment of the wire is larger than a pitch (P2) between the segments of the wire at other portions. The positions of the slit (7) of the partition (5) and a slit (8) of the flange (3) are displaced by a predetermined angle with respect to the center of the winding so to angle the wire passing through both slits with respect to the center of the winding. And, the coil system (1) has a one-side radiused portion (7b) formed at the slit end with which the wire passing through the slit (7) of the partition (5) is slidably contact.

  • Patent number: 5070594
Abstract: An acceleration sensor includes a tubular casing having one open and closed by a lid of an elastic material. A magnetic member is received within a sealed space defined by the casing and the lid, and a damper liquid fills in the sealed space. The lid is fixedly connected at its outer peripheral portion to one end portion of the casing including the open end thereof. The lid is deformable away from the other end of the casing so as to absorb a thermal expansion of the damper liquid. The lid has an annular deformable diaphragm portion extending between a central tubular portion of the lid and the outer peripheral portion of the lid. For attaching the lid to the casing, the outer peripheral portion of the lid is pressed into the one end portion of the casing so as to bring the diaphragm portion into contact with the damper liquid, so that part of the damper liquid flows into the tubular portion. Subsequently, an axial bore of the tubular portion is closed by a closure member.

  • Patent number: 5040418
Abstract: An acceleration sensor includes a body supporting a casing within which a magnetic member is received. A plurality of magnets are mounted on the body and disposed around the casing. The magnetic forces of the magnets hold the magnetic member in a reference position within the casing. The magnetic member is displaceable from the reference position against the magnetic forces of the magnets when the acceleration sensor is subjected to acceleration. A detection device is mounted externally of the casing so as to detect displacement of the magnetic member from the reference position. The acceleration sensor further includes a position adjusting device for adjusting the position of at least one of the magnets relative to the casing so as to set the intensities of the magnetic fields of the magnets in predetermined relation within the casing.

  • Patent number: 4843877
Abstract: An acceleration sensor comprises a case having defined therein at least one accommodating chamber. At least one magnetic ball is accommodated in the accommodating chamber with a radial play left between the wall surface of the accommodating chamber and the magnetic ball. The magnetic ball is magnetically attracted to a reference position in the accommodating chamber by a magnetic field generating unit. In response to acceleration, deceleration or inclination, the magnetic ball is movable in the accommodating chamber against the attracting force of the magnetic field generating unit. The movement of the magnetic ball is detected by a detector.
